I like the idea of the scout rifle... this will be topped with a Burris Scout scope soon. Just finished the build. CMMG, WOA SPR taper 18 in. ss barrel, Troy hand guard , Phase 5 BC, Valhalla bolt. Dont like the CAA stock, will have to do something about that too.

Here is my GSR set up with an XS Sights Systems scout rail with built in rear ghost ring sight.
I have on it a Nikon Monarch UCC 2.5-8x28 EER scope.

Here it is set up with a Primary Arms 6x magnifier mounted with an AR15 Cantilever Mount, and a Eotech 512.
Unfortunately I have to remove the ghostring sight to get the correct eye relief.
I guess I could get a long eye relief magnifier, or remove some of the buttstock spacers.

Thanks!

It's a DRC lever and Clements Custom Guns did the work.

Thanks U.P... thats a 15 In. Free float tube over an 18 In barrel. I was wanting a good quality, medium range and moderate weight in a do it all package. I like the Scout scope idea...what an ingenious idea!

This is my scout rifle. A Yugo M48 Mauser, chambered in 8mm of course, with a Brass Stacker scope mount and a Weaver Classic K-Series Scout Scope on Warne rings.
