All it takes is a phone call. I called glock. My austrian is a little rusty but glock is not discontinuing gen 3's. They have discontinued something but i will not mention that until i buy one.

To clarify. I called glock usa and they said that there are no plans on discontinuing gen3 glocks. Although, the usa factory will no longer make them, but that's old news. We in California do not get those glocks.

So, the dude at Sportsmans was 95% wrong. And that's me being lenient.

Glad this thread didn't blow up with a crap load of misinformation

In previous months they have always been available somewhere even if hi-cap version. 0 available. 0 Glock 26s available. Only 1 distributor had Glock 17s.. I purchased a few.

Flood of Gen4s, Gen5s at ALL distributors right now in many various different configurations and colors.

Clearly for them to produce those they cant also produce Gen3s as they were in the past. If they aren't being phased out they are at least being produced in less frequency now. Either that or all the FFLs in CA decided to go Glock crazy in the past 6 weeks.

I will concur. Have not been able to restock 19's for some time now. Not sure what's going on. I haven't checked the Blue Label supply yet, but I'm sure it's as diminished as the standard white label.

Both are already gone.. only SF versions are being made (20sf 21sf). You might be able to find new/old stock somewhere though.

I believe they speak German in Austria.

Must be learning about the world from Barry.

Wait a minute. Good point.
I misspoke above. Glock will not produce any more handguns. They are going out of business.

There, that should raise the prices a little.

Not true. Going by the Glock New Catalog. All Gen3's even in free states will come in 10rd Mags CA only package n it's like that thru all models n calibers. Could be a big misprint but that's what it says. When I talked to the West coast rep for all of CA. I was told they will not stop making Gen3 Glocks. What will happen is that are making them only in batches. There is talk of stopping some model numbers. Like still making the Glock 31 but dropping 32/33 <<just using as a example, You can look a the new GSSF mag to see what I mean.

Big Bore n Oddball Gen3 Glocks will be taking the hit. Supposedly only making them once a year in Gen3. So if you want a 357 Sig /10mm/45ACP/45GAP buy them now.

Or Glock could **** us all in CA n stops making Gen3. Remember G36 only comes in Gen3 and that model has been discontinued as of 2015 n replaced with the G36 rail aka Glock 36R that isn't on the roster.

CA Only
G34/17/19/No26/35/22/23/no27/31/32/33/ next four models still in the air about stopping production 20/29/21/30/36 Will still produce but is off roster for CA because of rail/No GAP Glock. Glock will only make the G37 In G4.

Now i can tell you all what glock told me. No more gen 3 rtf2. This was their last batch. Glad I procured one.
I am not worried about glock stopping the gen 3. Its still the best version out there.
Glock did stop making gen 3 in the USA factory. But that is old news
