I would suggest you do it yourself. The metallic type bedding compound is the best.

Look for BigBamBoo on here. He's up in Redding and last time I talked to him, he was with a shop that turns out some VERY quality precision rifles.

I did it myself. It is not at all difficult. Just take your time, prep, prep, prep double check and pooky away. It took me just under 5 hrs of prep and 20 minutes(that's the pot life of epoxy) to bed my rifle. Turned out stellar. I used Brownells Steel Bed in a 1978 Winchester Model 70 with a wood stock. It's not rocket science, just work.
Good luck

Do it yourself. Brownells has kits.
CS Sports in Woodland does it.

Just a follow up in case people are looking,

I went to Jones Fort in Redding to bed my rifle. They did a great job, looks clean, and pretty fast turn around time.

5 Shot group from rifle:

Spartan is now located in San Jose. Marc is a great guy and builds some great rifles. He is pretty slammed though and last I talked to him, he was only doing complete rifle builds at this time. However, if you don't mind waiting, I highly recommend going to him for work

I just picked up my rifle from Marc, and his workload has lightened up a bit. I dropped of my rifle about three weeks ago, and picked it up on Thursday. His work is great, and prices are awesome.
