Default Turn off Windows 10 Login?

After the last Windows 10 updates, my laptop is now requiring me to enter my password every time I start up after complete shutdown. Tried looking in Settings for a way to not require login every time but I'll be damned if I can figure it out.

The inly real way that I know of is to remove the password itself, and you will still have to press enter to login everytime.

Don't know if this exists in win10, but open a run box and enter:
control userpasswords2

uncheck box to require password to logon, then enter credentials.

What he means by this is when you first upgraded to Windows 10 did it ask you to create a MSN,HOTMAIL,Microsoft exchange account? This may effect the way it logs in. I use an offline line account and does not require me to log in, but I do have a lot in window and must press enter to start the start up process. It does not boot straight into my desktop.

Thanks! Here's the process.

• Type netplwiz in the Start menu search bar, then click the top result to run the command

• Untick the box next to 'Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer' and hit 'Apply'

• Enter your username and password, then re-enter your password. Click 'OK'

• Click 'OK' again to save the changes

First, you must switch to a local account

Type "Accounts" (no quotes) in windows 10 search box.

Click "your account".

click "Sign in with local account instead".

Then:

Follow these instructions.

It's quicker to post this, than for me to write it out.
