I drosed mine today from Alamo Pawn in Covina today. My buddy and I got the only two with fish gills the rest are standard serrations.

I have wanted a RTF for a long time, I think this will be my last Glock for awhile, I have all that I want.

Where's the cheapest place to do transfers in SoCal?

Some of my local gun stores are charging $95.

Try looking at the list of FFLs that are set up with GunBroker.com.
I'm waiting on my guy to locate a G17 RTF2.

Aces Jewelry & Loan in West Covina.

$50 transfer. Give them a call for an appt.

The RTF2 is so good! I recently picked up a frame for cheap. If anyone wants to sell their slide, PM me.

Bah... I don't need one. Why are you trying to make me buy one?

Best deal is to buy one from a good LGS that is selling them for a fair price which is $499 IIRC. Lots of shops marking them around $570 from what I've seen.

The counter guy said they have a "pallet load" coming "soon". I asked how soon and he said probably about

I was proactive. I called and had them hold one for me once I decided on the G17. Went down the next morning to DROS.

Usually I grip wrap my glocks but I don't think I'll bother wrapping this one. The grip is great.

Same here. The RTF2 is like velcro in my hands. Outside of CCW, it's nearly perfect for my hands.

Dang! Great idea! I hadn't thought of doing that to my G34...
Perhaps 2 of the G17 RTF2s are in order...

Nice. What type of magwell is on that 17L?

I can't decide on a OD 17 or a RTF2 17.

I'll be getting rid of my RTF2 slide when I get it out of jail if anyone is interested. Most likely will sell it stripped. Will have channel liner and sights.

Same. I got there just before the shop closed for the night.

I love the feeling of the RTF2 frame. The gen3 frontstrap was always, IMO, poorly textured and the sides were too smooth. Gen4 fixed most of that for me, but so did RTF2 (well, RTF2 did it better, in my opinion. Easy to lightly sand down if it was too aggressive, unlike other types of polymer frame texturing).

I was there shooting this morning and handled the g22 rtf2 they had in the case.

Interestingly enough I asked how the sales of the OD green Glocks had been going ( I bought the 26,19 and 17 in OD) and he said they had to order 10,000 just to get them. That sounds crazy to me. I didn't ask how many they actually had on hand at any given time.

Yeah it sounded crazy to me. Maybe he ment 1000?

I don't know. But Sacramento Armory said they had a full pallet of RTF2 on the way so I'm guessing Sacramento stores are not having a hard time moving product.

In cases like mine where someone isn't near one of the preferred or listed stores, but maybe has a good local kitchen table FFL...

Both the 17 and 22, with both standard and night sights are currently in stock at Davidson's Gallery of Guns.

Just jailed my g17 rtf2 at elite armory in Castro valley!!! I was surprised how grippy the fish gill slide is. Way more grip than the normal straight slide serrations.
