Shouldn't it be 38-24-34, or is she standing on her hands?

I like quiet dinners and long walks on the beach watching the sun set.

I like a nice red wine, although sometimes Iíll drink white wine.

I tell people my favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut but my little secret is I devour Danielle Steele.

Iím usually a vegan but on occasion will sin and eat a little bit of fish.

I consider myself a spiritual person, but abhor organized religion.

I worked for Bernie in the primaries.

I graduated from Berkeley with a major in post-colonial critique and gender studies, and am current employed at a used bookstore. Employed is kind of a stretch, asIím actually doing research and my time there is unpaid.

I plan to start my dissertation, a post-modernist neo-Marxist interpretation of the exploitation of native and immigrant/emigrant populations, with a focus on non-binary pansexual experiences. Just waiting for my next student loan paperwork to be completed.

Be happy to help you out.

Op you got pretty hashed on this post, that's to be expected here, IMO

Just go hunting, put your time in, & meet other like minded hunters in the field, you find them friendlier IMHO than working this crowed for a hunting partner.

Camp in campgrounds where (area) you hunt, is also a good way to meet good folk who enjoy same stuff as you.

Join a shooting club, also a good place for like minded thinkers. Some might also be like you looking for someone to hunt & be friends with.

Just an Idea ?

I meet many good folks at hunting time campgrounds, but always had a hunt pal, & my wife is probably my biggest asset for a partner in the field.

We seem to bring home the bacon more often than some buddies do when I'm hunting with them.

Of course Idk if your married or not, or if so how you mate would enjoy this sport (if you have one).

Good luck barna123

Eh, we were just having a lot of fun. But this is good advice.

I remember starting out that the hardest thing to do was start out. Funny thing was my dad didnít hunt. Only fished. And only saltwater in socal. So when I went to school then lived up north college roomy got me into hunting. Grew up shooting a bit, but didnít hunt. So guns werenít foreign to me.

One of the things that Iíve discovered is people have tons of advice but no information. Which I can understand. Word gets out of a good spot and next thing you know 8 million people show up. Especially in this state as good accessible hunting lands are hard to come by if you donít know someone or are someone who owns lots of land.

It just takes a lot of time and effort. Really the best thing to do to shorten the learning curve is hire a guide. Not cheap but most often well worth it.

BHCR is what you make of it. They have Russian pigs which run just like wild ones do. The badlands are steep AF.

If you want to kill yourself chasing pigs, it's there for you. If you want something less grueling, it's there too.

They get an undeserved bad rap by people who have never been there.

OP - brownie points for taking crap and still coming out clean.

If you were closer to the bay I would have you join me on a pig hunt. The problem is my hunts are last minute and are "pigs are in my walnuts again, come shoot these SOB's" kinda thing.

Let's put it this way. The ribs are meaty enough to BBQ and I can normally get a little bacon out of each pig.

If you can't find a group make your own. We have 6 six hunters and their kids we hunt 2 zones each year and all or some are welcome. During the preseason we firm up the zones and set the dates, always have 3 or more on each trip.
