Mom had a 64 Dodge Dart GT, a 2 door hardtop with the slick slant 6. I see these at Mopar car shows, desirable. Would make a great Calgunner coastal cruiser.

Shameless plug for Cornrelius. Ban me (and I'll save lots of money).

Photobucket is dead. Moving on to bigger and better.

Why isn't anyone buying the cool car?

No idea

Anyone know a new picture hosting site since apparently Photobucket wants 400 bucks now?

I don't know which is better/worse, but I'm currently using imgur and goooogle.

My first car was a red 63 Dart with three-on-the-tree. It was the taxi version.

Little trivia for you on the push-button and why Dodge moved away from them. In the early 80s I met a gent who was an exec with Mopar (met him at the Mother Goose Parade). Back in the day, execs were required to buy a car from the company and as such, their wives would drive them too.

One of the exec's wives formed a sort of union with the wives who all went to their husbands. That cool push-button feature was resulting in the ladies breaking their nails and they insisted their husbands change the design.

As I recall, the push-button feature was only in the 63 and 64 model years before moving to a column shift.

And now you know the rest of the story.

Toos bad my wife would not consider letting me have a new project/hobby.

Unfortunately not. I'd really like to snatch up your Dart but, I don't have room for it.
