You are most welcome my friend.
That poor build had so many things wrong with it that re-building was your best option IMHO.
BTW: you have one picture that is missing the ending 'img' thingie.
let me help out>>>

See you on Friday to help finish up that AMD65 bro.

Wow I've never seen that on a Nodak. You probably could have sent it in for replacement since the problem was with their manufacturing.

Got to stay legal bro
The issue with the nodak was
Not the receiver but started with how the front trunnion was riveted.
Everything compounded from there, and whomever owned it before did all kinds of things to 'try' to fix the issue which screwed up a few other things.
Could have possibly saved the nodak but would have needed to weld shut the trunnion holes, and re-drill in the correct location
By that time might as well bend a flat, and redo entirely which is what we did.
Glad you're enjoying your first AK which is now working
Like it should.

A bulet or a casing? If it was a bullet then I glad you're still alive.

Full live round was ending up behind the hammer.
I have to admit that was the first time I ever saw that happen.

Both Ollie, and I shoot at USI (and other places but I am a member of Diablo Rod, and gun so USI is my home range).
Larry, Jason, Dave, Doc, Tom or any of the other ROs there would know who you were talking about if you mention 'Nico', and 'AKs' in the same sentence.

I agree with Ollie on this one Richie3888.
One can never have enough AK.
BTW: Hows that one you built in the 'AK-Rehab center' running for you bud?

Tell me about it....he had some weird 1/ 1,000,000,000 th of an inch hammer/sear rule he followed. I had a bit of a trigger problem and we shaved a tad off , and then no problems. His attention to detail is extreme but its not without merit.
