Default M1 Carbine stock?

I am looking for a replacment M1 or M2 stock. Wondering if anyone can tell me where to get one in good shape with the handguard?

Thanks, but I was thinking more of an original USGI stock. I should have been more clear! This will be for a shooter.

Don't bother with the stocks from J&G. They are well below poor condition.

Just placed an order w/ Keep Shooting after reviewing what was offered on GB and fleabay. I've got a `43 Standard Products in a sanded yellow polyurethaned stock which has to be replaced. I'll update here when received.

Mine is a standard products as well. My stock was sanded and coated with the shiny stuff. I'll try one of these. Low risk for the money.

The two stocks I ordered from Keep Shooting just arrived. They're both walnut type III, oval cut, low wood stocks, with bridges, no M2 selector cuts.

No visible stamps except one has a P firing proof and might have an OI in the slingwell.

Both are missing too much wood to be restored at first glance. Both are missing big chunks on the right side by the slide and the one with the smaller chuck missing by the slide is missing a big chunk behind the recoil lug.

One 2 rivet handguard, one 4 rivet handguard, both very rough. The 2 rivet is marked OI.

Only win is a Rock-Ola stamped recoil lug in decent condition.

Just won a last minute auction for a clean PJ stock on fleabay for 92 cents more than the other two were with shipping :-/
