A few years ago I would say any of my 1911s. Funny how time changes things, now....my H&K P2000, a PPQ, and then a Glock 19 or Shield In that order........

but, as others have said, I trust all of mine.

Smith & Wesson 625JM, years of Competition, draw with either hand, shoot with either hand, makes big holes that are easier to see.

I focus on grip and comfort in all my guns, I sell the ones that don't fit comfortably.... No reason to hold on to a gun I don't like. That being said my go to gun is my M&P 9. Well balanced, It always goes bang, super fun to shoot and feels great in my hand.

Right now, it's my H&K P2000 Light LEM 9mm. It's the gun I shoot the most and have used for the majority of my shooting classes.

To be honest, I kind of want to like something else but the H&K's keep treating me well.

This is hard to admit...Glock 17.

I'm a 1911 guy. Keep em clean and they are perfect.

That being said it hurts to admit that I would trust a Glock 17 more than any other handgun. I don't even currently own one but of all the guns I've owned and shot in the past, it wins my vote of confidence.

G19c, may eventually go with the Agency G17 but I have so many rounds through the 19c that not only do I know it will go bang, I know were it will hit.

Why? Because you secretly don't like glocks but also don't trust your 1911? Don't get emotionally invested in it. Its a tool.

I am a 1911 guy for sure, but I do like Glocks as well, and other handguns.

For .45acp, my go to is 1911, closely followed by HK USP
for 9mm, it is Glock, hands down.

G26 and yes, I have a 1911 and it is a great gun, but.......I will still choose the Glock! Carries more rounds (Duh), lighter, and proven to be vary reliable with anything I have fired in it.

No emotional investment at all. I know a minivan is more practical and reliable than my truck but guess what I drive?

That being said, I admit the Glock 17 is most reliable tool over my awesome yet not tactically practical 1911s.

Straight up

Okay, that's not even mine.

My best PPC scores were shot with my 4" GP100. Fiber optic front sight and old style wood insert rubber grips. Like/trust that gun the most.

Beretta 92 or Sig 226
Beretta I shoot more accurately , so If I had 1 shot to deal with bad guy behind hostage....Beretta 92, POI is dead on.

Sig 226 points very naturally and has night sights and 6 o'clock hold for HD, but POI (rather high) seems to vary quite a bit depending on distance.

My Colt 1911 Commercial that was customize by Bob Coogan. I have thousands upon thousands of round through it, shot IDPA and ISPC with it and trust it completely. I don't carry it much anymore as I have gone to tactical Tupperware.

Although I dont own one currently, beretta 92 would be my answer.
Especially if I could get one with night sights and a rail.
I wonder how much less recoil there is on the 92 with a wml?

SA 1911 Pro

I also trust my glocks but the SA 1911 Pro is better in terms of fit and accuracy. As far as reliability goes, they both ran 100%.

Glocks - numerous test online
SA 1911 Pro - tested by the FBI SWAT

2011, there is no substitute...I like them so much I am building a Carry Commander 2011 as my EDC.

I can be accurate with a g-lock, but the triggers suck

Trust the most? Baby Eagle. Fits the best? Baby Eagle. Most accurate for me? Baby Eagle.

Runners up for trust would be Glock 27 and CZ PCR. Fit would be PCR and Hi Power. Accuracy, for me, would be G27 and Hi Power.

Glock 22 would get an honorable mention, canít fault reliability but I prefer the feel and Iím more accurate with the G27.

I donít own any unreliable or inaccurate guns though.

I have 3 FAS1 single handgun safes around the house and all 3 have a VP9 in them. I sleep very well knowing that.

I do however now have a G19 in jail so we shall see
