Default Who Do You Use For Liability Insurance?

We just got notified that our liability insurance is going to pretty much double because there have been a lot more claims in the industry and many insurers are not covering our industry anymore. Has anyone else heard this? And more importantly, who are you using for your insurance?

Granite state or Chierrello(sp) brothers. I have not been happy at all with it. but it is all I could find. Costs me around 5k annually.

Thanks for the responses, we used to use the NRA one and then this agent from Philidalphia called us and gave us a huge savings, but now they want double the money. Anyone else hear of massive rate hikes? I'm wondering if we got the good old bait and switch.

Yep! Philidelphia actually spun off their gun store underwriting and opened up another subsidiary to take gun stores back in.

Insurance nearly doubled. It seems to be the indudstry standard and attributed to "mass shooting liabilities"

This is what my agent told me. Don't shoot the messenger here please.

There are only a handful of carriers that are playing in this sandbox anymore. More importantly, having a proactive insurance agent with access to these markets are key. If you would like to discuss your options further, shoot me a message, glad to help!
