Default Ma-Ten build

So I have the MA-TEN set and I've ordered the Rainier Ultra Match barrel DPMS pattern and a DPMS BCG for it(non Chrome) with the JP/VTAC hand guard. Do I have to worry about headspacing???

It's always a good idea to headspace, especially with the .308 platform.

ok, do you have a suggestion for DIY or is it something I should have a smith do. I have an idea but I've never done this before.

You can certainly do it yourself. There are "Go" and "No-Go" guages you can purchase out there. Otherwise, if you want to save yourself the cost of the guages, a gunsmith can certainly do it for you, but they typically charge.

On a similar note, we offer the service for free in the event the customer purchases both the barrel and bolt/bcg from us.
