That's kinda strange to include the stock. The official SIG package just has the stock adapter I thought.

Looking at the MAC video where he gasses himself, he's using S&B ammo, which is known to be dirty. High quality US made stuff might be a lot better wrt gassing.

Prices seem to be coming down a bit for the Rattler. I've seen it for $1900 recently.

This looks like it is only for a 5.56??? What about a 300BO?

I can only get it down to $1347 with my math , but isn't this only a barrel, gas block and piston?

Same price backordered, also available at midway for significantly more available now.

Osage arms has the super short 300 bo in stock for 1650. I don't know much about this, but rifle caliber rounds from a 5.5 inch barrel seems questionable. But I could be entirely wrong.

1444-10% is 1300, and active junky takes 4% off 1300. And no, that's the full upper. The picture is misleading and wrong.

Price shows me $1599.99 not $1444. What am I missing? Also, does this come as a complete upper with bolt and CH?

I wonder if that pricing is only if one has a dealer status with Brownells. I'm not sure, but I seem to recall their coupons don't work if one has a dealer status.

But, you are right, Califpatriot, the part number does work out for a complete upper. Here is the same 11.5" upper at Optics Planet:
https://www.opticsplanet.com/v/uamcx...assemebly.html
-the website shows that it is in stock, but with OP, you better call.

At $1389, with their occasional 10% off coupons, you can get them for $1250 like Califpatriot said. I wonder if that is Sig's dealer cost.

The kit has all the parts, including the elusive AR lower to MCX adapter. Have a look at this page:
https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page...cx-11b-556-tap

You guys know you're talking about an MCX conversion, not a Rattler, right?

Yup, thread drift ...

But as this is Calguns, most are only talking about a Rattler AR conversion anyway, not a pure Rattler. I donít think the Rattler was available before the SB1135 CA Assault Weapons Ban as of July 2017, was it?

This would be for an AR pistol Rattler 300 BO conversion only here in California. Prices range from $1,450-up for the conversion.

FWIW you can buy Sig MCX lower group assemblies off gunbroker, then you would need a current compliant configuration prior to build.

Not pistol in California... rifle only.

Right, the best way to get a Rattler, or close to it, is if you already have an AR pistol and put the Rattler upper on it. Which was done earlier in the thread. However, if you cannot find a Rattler upper, second best if to buy a whole Rattler and separate the upper through someone like audiophil.

Yes, and you still need the AR to MCX conversion block.

This part isn't easy to come by.

I looked at this as a possible option before buying my conversion, but it doesnít appear that the top most part/piece of the adapter will capture the upper right below the charging handle...

Does this conversion kit at Midway have the AR to MCX conversion block? Based on the picture, it looks like it does. However this is a 16” carbine conversion, not a Rattler conversion.

Yes the midway mcx conversion kit has the receiver extension/m1913 rail adapter, a threaded receiver extension to M1913 adapter, and duo trigger which is needed to run the MCX upper

Midway shows it as having the part number of UAMCX-5B-300-BLK-TAP, but Osage shows the part number as the complete kit:

https://www.osagecountyguns.com/sig-...0-blk-tap.html

BTW, Osage is much cheaper than MidwayUSA LOL

Optics Planet shows the part number as an upper only, without the MCX stock adapter block and the MCX trigger:
https://www.opticsplanet.com/sig-sau...bly-m-lok.html

Confusing, isn't it?
