Default Did anyone modify their Beretta to look like Robocop's pistol?

I forgot about this until a few days ago when I saw a Robocop poster. Then I realized that Robocop's pistol was indeed the very first handgun that I wanted. (No wonder I always want guns with compensators and full dust guards.....)

Did anyone modified their Beretta to look exactly like the one in the movie? Is it do-able??

Please share pictures.

The Equilibrium M9 is also very cool. I have a pair of 96D's that might be fun to convert to Robo or Eq's but ill probably never get around to it...or want to spend the money...and find hoslters..etc etc

I see what you did there...

Hmmm... making it is doable, but pricy. Beretta competition barrel extension, that's extended even further with a compensated barrel (see vents in extention). Custom oversized rubber grips (probably easy to make a mold for). Extended mag. Replacement sights, not a problem.

Unfortunately this looks to be based on the Beretta 93r, which idon't think any of us will be getting our hands on anytime soon in CA (burst fire... yay). You can tell by the trigger guard which has space to hook your offhand thumb through for gripping the forward-folding grip.

I wouldn't mind some factory-ish grips with a emblem on them from that Equilibrium varriant. Their needs someone who can do custom jobs.

thanks for all your inputs! I'll talk with my gunsmith once he gets back from a competition. Hopefully he can get it done. However, I probably need to find a Beretta first.

Put a stainless steel slide on it and you've got a Civil Protection pistol from Half-Life 2.

unless you can score a 93r frame, yours will have a different trigger guard.

The custom grips on the robocop also cover up the shoulder-stock mount point.

If you want a 1:1 copy, you'll need a 93 frame, (or have one made), the oversize grips that cover the stock-mount (or an extended mag-well to get the same extended look). and all the fiddly bits I listed in my first post.

problem is: the select fire will need to be neutered into a safety, or just a Semi-Semi selector.

using a 92's frame will look significantly different, but will still be bad-*** Robocop'd.

No holster needed !!! You need to surgically implant the holster with the retractable mechanisms into the side of your leg for that authentic look !!

If you do find a 93r frame be sure to post lots of pics

Seriously though, it's considered a machine gun, don't go asking to buy one, tha would be conspiracy to violate the 68gca

You CAN however have your 92's frame modified with a longer trigger guard, you just need to find gods own gunsmith to do it.

Just saw a robocop gun replica for sale on ebay....

it states that the replica is 14-in long. Therefore, the barrel is at least 11.5-in long. For a 9mm, man, that means.....no recoil at all!

I haven't seen any Robocop movies in a long time... but way back then, I thought he had a Desert Eagle.

OR you can machine your own sans the happy switch capability. The guy that does Cncgunsmithing.com might be able to help.

It also means roster exempt with a locked single shot sled!
