Has anyone been out to YSA recently? I used to go to Twin Sisters all the time but since the Craig died and the neighbors complained enough to shut it down I need to go somewhere I can shoot my rifles. I haven't been there probably close to 6 years. Is it still a good place to shoot? Any recent changes I should know about before I drive out there? I want to try to make it out there on Saturday.
I searched but didn't find anything recent.

YSA is terrible please dont come it wont be good enough for you.

But seriously, the only two ranges I think are worth going to are Sac Valley and YSA.

YSA can get crowded in the mornings especially the pistol line.

There are some yahoos that show up but thats pretty much every range except Sac Valley.

It just kind of depends on if you get lucky on the day you go or not. The regulars I see there are all pretty cool. Its the guys wearing tapout sweats and look like they have Aaron Hernandez CTE brain, that you got to watch out for.

maybe a little to soon....I Lol'd anyways.
So it sounds like nothing really changed, maybe just got busier. I'm hoping by the afternoon on Saturday most will have left, I can get some handgun and rifle time in.
I should just sell an kidney or two and buy my own land and shoot there.

I like YSA and haven't had any problems going there for the last 10 years.

Last time I was there they would not let me shoot an approved rimfire metal spin target onthe 100yd range. Is that still the case? No metal targets?

yes. Only paper target on their wood frame target holder.
