Default Armasight Spark?

Just ordered an Armasight Spark from Optics planet. Looked like it was a fun piece of gear and the reviews seem positive.

Anyone else got one? Opinions?

I own an Armasight Spark and really like it.

The CORE generation offers usable quality at a reasonable price point and I have repeatedly recommended it as the best entry level NV device that can be helmet mounted.

I have had zero issues with mine.

Played around with last night; for the price point it's pretty impressive; nice resolution and noise free image. Better than the ancient military gear I used 20 years ago.

Am wondering if adding the optional 3x lens might improve performance by virtue of gathering more light.

I am not a big fan of the added magnification unless you are staying static and viewing an object/area.

Spending that money on a quality IR source would probably be more beneficial.

But glad you like it!

...and it makes a big difference: still impressed with the quality of the image.
