OK, so it looks like I will be late due to work obligations. Expect me on site at 8:00 PM, feel free to meet, greet, and shoot without me, and PLEASE do stay and hit me up for the raffle tickets when I get there.

Unfortunately, my Dr's appointment is running late - won't be able to make it this time. I'll hopefully make the one at Firing Line later this month. Sorry, I was really hoping to make it.

You and the Mrs are always welcome at the LA area shoots!

And it's always a pleasure watching old war rifles sing again

Thanks. Don't think we can make it to the Burbank shoots right now, but if we're free, we're definitely up for LAX.

Dont buy the parts yet. your AR are running good later part of the shoot.. Shoot it few more times and see if it still have failure.

Btw, what is your barrel twist?

Pm me next month if your coming to LAX Shoot, I bring some of my optics for you to try..

It was great to see everyone at the shoot! Shooting the AR pistols indoors is always a hoot, and the Beowulf got a great reception and I got to learn a lot more about Care and Feeding of a Big Bore Rifle...

Just wanted to quickly say thank you for the meet up. The rifles were a blast, literally, and I managed to shoot nearly every brand of handgun they had at LAX Range in the process.

Problem is now I want more then one gun.

Sounds good, will do. Thanks. I believe the barrel twist is 1:9, I'll ask the guy I bought it from to make sure.

No need for the facepalm, lol. Its the way it works. Each time I go shooting I get hooked into it more. Already have my next four purchases planned out (my buddy's G17, Mossberg 500/590, Springfield XDS, Kimber Pro TLE/RL II. mrsfunnybookz is already figuring out what she wants too.

She was bummed she didn't get to shoot more, we should have bought more ammo.

Same for me, I pick one up after my 10 day wait, and end up picking my next purchase on the same trip! You can never have to many.

your twist should be stamped on the barrel.

I know, but the barrel and upper receiver is duracoated. It looks like it covered the stamp, unless it is stamped toward the rear of the barrel and covered by the rail.

Its 1:9 twist. Eventually going to have it cerakoted. The gloss black... just isn't doing it for me.
