Default Brownell has Magpul's bipod in picatinny configuration in stock now

As I posted in one of the other threads, they are now in stock and if you use one of the $10 off coupons available, it comes to you for $94.45.

Stick to atlas. These things flex and have too much wobble

They are supposed to flex and wobble so they don't bounce.

I have three Atlas's. Not worth the money.

So why did I buy three you ask???

If they bounce you are loading it incorrectly.

Anybody that says stick with Atlas probably doesn’t own one. The Accu-Tac SR-5 is better than the Atlas bipod in my book and I own two of each of them. I ordered two of these Magpul bipods to go on my new featureless builds. I haven’t received them yet but they look decent and you can’t beat that price. Time will tell.

+1...

I have an Atlas, GG&G, Brugger & Thomet, Modular Evolution EvoPod (great bipod!), Versa-pod and a Harris (the one I like the least)...

I ordered two of the Magpul bipods... Primarily for light rifles (ARX 100 and a ultra light AR I built)

Atlas is a great bipod - but many others are great as well. If Atlas was the say all end all, I'd have a bunch of em (and not so many others).

Looks like all the inventory they got is now gone... What they had is now on back order - and what they've yet to receive is still listed as pre-order.

I just called to inquire about FDE pic rail - still waiting with no ETA... Black M-LOK should be in my hands next week.

I have 4 of these UTG that work perfectly for me and were bought on sale, I think at both Optics Planet and Amazon forright around $30. Why pay more when these work so nicely.

https://www.amazon.com/UTG-Rubber-Ar...ords=utg+bipod

BUT, I should mention, they are all on 22lr Rugers and CZ's. My three Atlas's are on my 556 Daniel Defense AR's. I originally used the UTG on them and they worked okay, but got talked into the Atlas when they were on sale and 20% off on Ebay. Came in around $250 each delivered. Not sorry, but I still say they aren't worth it. I also don't care for Harris either, although I only "borrowed" one to try it out. Also, overpriced and I don't like springs.

To each his own and I know most will work fine with 22lr's. That's why I mentioned it.

I thought I'd look at the Magpul for both my 22lr and my 556 DD, but more than likely the Atlas will stay on the DD. Of course, I could always get another DD or similar, I supposed, in spite of what Calamity might say, although it would mean many sleepless nights on the couch.

I had UTG Recon Flex (pair of M-LOK legs that mount 3 and 9 o'clock on handguards... They are surprisingly stout and every bit worth the small price... However, I never shot with em.

I ended up selling the pair I had 'cause they were too short (mounting on side instead of underneath makes a big difference)... I intend to get the longer legs at some point - just haven't got around to it - but I really like that system.

Two bad experiences with UTG and I'll never go cheap again.

That's what I said I wanted, on some earlier thread. But sadly, they do not have this version yet.

So far my favorite bipod is still the Harris S-BRM converted to QD with a American Defense AD-BPP2 (3105).

Before ADM came out with this gagdet, I was using a similar solution from Short Action Precision plus the AD-170-S (4103).
