I believe you are fine, but you will need to talk to the receiving FFL to make sure they are good with it. The CA roster does not list an exact model for the standard P226 that says anything about mag release. Where are you located?

If it is a different model, then it would not be allowed for transfer, but if it is just the mag release that was changed, no one might notice.
While the list does not list the exact models, it needs to be the exact model (one of the many problems with the list).
