Default Anybody own a Burris AR-536?

Anybody out there own a Burris AR-536? What do you think of them?

Reason I ask is that I have a chance to get one brand new for $260 and was wondering if it's worth the money. I've heard from some that the eye relief sucks but others say it's fine. I'd like to hear opinions of someone thats been running one.

Thanks for any input

I have the Burris AR-332 that I like and have used for just about a year. Works great, holds zero, good eye relief. But I'm going to be selling it to find an ACOG....

$260 is a pretty good price for that sight as an ACOG alternative. I borrowed a 332 for a short time a few years back to try and determine if I wanted to throw down for a ACOG, and while the glass at the time was a little dark because of the coatings, I felt like it was nice for what it was. Beware, though, because if you do like that style of sighting system, you will eventually begin to lust after the ACOG. It is unavoidable, especially once you get a peek through one.

Thanks for the input guys.

I definitely have the itch for an ACOG, but luckily I still cant justify buying a 1k dollar optic for a $700 AR...for now lol.

I ended up buying it, which I plan on mounting on top of my carry handle. I'll let you guys know how it does. If anyone's interested, I bought it at overstock.com. They've got them marked down to $304, and I used a 12% off coupon for a total of ~$267 shipped. No where else is even close to that deal.

Be careful with overstock..just heard something on the news couple nights ago about them selling fraudulent items or something..I might be wrong...lol wouldn't be the first time. I was looking at that optic myself, but 5x fixed seems like a lil too much magnification for me. I ended up getting the primary arms 2.5x. Yet to try it out tho... Good luck n get us some feedback..

You're better of with a $400 .308 unless you plan on taking out taliban from 2000 yards away haha

I had a few AR 332 scopes from Burris and thought they were pretty darn well made and functional for the price range. The 536 model would be just as nice and at that price it is a very good deal IMO>

I'll have to look into that about overstock. Lets hope that Isn't the case with my scope.

It seems a few of you guys have switched over to the Primary Arms CQB. How would you compare the two? I hear they are making one geared toward the 7.62x39, which is something I'd be interested in for my AK.
