Default Problem with my Bushnell TRS-25?

I'm not sure if this is normal, but I can't see the dot on my Bushnell TRS-25 on the top 1/3 of the sight. On the diagram, it shows where I can see the dot in green. The blue region is where the dot doesn't show up. Is my sight defective or is this normal?

Is that with your sight mounted?

I just checked mine and that is not normal. However it wasn't easy positioning my head to have the dot appear in that area.

Mounted on a rifle the dot will always be somewhere in the green area depending on your cheek weld.

Edit: If your sight is not mounted, hold it upside down and confirm that you can't see the dot in that area. It's possible the lens coating is faulty there so you'll have to decide if it's worth sending out for warranty.

It does it mounted, not mounted, and up-side-down. Right before it goes out of view, I can see a line of red. I think the glass piece where the emitter might be at fault.

I took it back and exchanged for a different one that is working properly.

Thanks for the help!
