Yah, it’s the RMD. Love the larger rats, just never see them when offered new.

The JMD is just a stretched out RMD... not really that much bigger.

There are large blades right now though. I'd say the Mega Ratweiler is one.

Valid point... thicker than a Regulator. Just like a parkerized Regulators though, the grind helps. Still an anchor though.

A tuxedo version of the ProTech Whiskers 1.

Would have preferred an all black scale version but this is the only Whiskers1 that I've seen and been able to buy on bladeforums. I had a Whiskers2 which I liked better because of it's 4" blade but never liked the scale end release on it.

The bolster release of the Whiskers2 is better and more intuitive. I just wish ProTech would redesign the Whiskers2 w/a bolster release as well.

Will keep looking for an all black scale version and will sell this one off when I find out

I have always wanted a Whiskers, I don't know the difference between v1 and v2 though. I've been looking at an ATAC but I prefer OTF autos.

I also recently picked up a 940. How do you like the Elementum? I’ve been waiting for them to be back in stock again.

Nice, which one? The Elementum's great, lightweight, nice deep pocket clip, smooth action and I have no complains about the d2 blade. Can't beat the price for and EDC knife. I believe they're available at Blade HQ.

I’ve been looking for the Elementum with a Damascus blade and carbon fiber scales.

I've been trying to get a CRKT Squid with the green handle or the natural g10 handle. It's become difficult to acquire. I've been on a waiting list for a long time. There's one on eBay with the g10 handle in green. The person selling it thinks it's worth $135.00. Let's just say it's been on there for quite a while.

The basic difference between the Whiskers 1 and 2 is that the 1 comes w/a 3 1/8" blade and a bolster release while the 2 is 3.75" long and comes w/a scale end release.

Preferred the 2 because of the longer blade but never liked the scale end release; just couldn't get the hang of using it so I sold it. The 1 is smaller than I like but the bolster release on the 1 is much easier and intuitive to use.

Good lookin out, I prefer my blades between 3.25-3.6" so I think I'd go V2 also

Same, I want the G-10 Squid for the D2 blade.

I just wish for a $500+ knife CRK would upgrade their steel to a better steel.
