Default Back to Knives Again

Was into folders about 15+ years ago, sold almost all off when I got into guns in the last 5 years.

For some reason, was perusing this forum late Sunday night....when I should've been sleeping. Saw Jesse Tischauser's Zero Tolerance 0801Ti in the "....Latest Knife Purchase" (post #1491) thread and had to get one.

A nice beastly little folder....smooth operator! The wife tolerates my guns....decided to keep this little one a secret, for now, lol

Nice pickup! Dig that handle design.

Buncha enablers the lot of ya.

Knives are easier to conceal.

Yeah, "enablers" is a great word for these forums....guns, knives, sales, coupons .....it never ends

Before midnight Sunday, I had absolutely NO PLANS to buy a knife.....I've never even checked this knife forum! Insomnia just cost me $180

Guess there's a few new metals for blades nowadays, too....gotta read up. Or maybe NOT!!

I know what you mean. I've been terribly dismayed by all the new and asinine gun laws that I started perusing the knife forums in the hopes finding some type of distraction. It was after spending time perusing pictures of numerous custom knives that my interest in the butterfly knives of my youth was rekindled, and in a little over a year, now have close to a dozen customs in my collection, lol.

I go off and on. Mostly on. Spurts of madness here and there. I rarely lighten the load.

You know it's bad when you look at an older purchase (or even pretty soon after a recent purchase) and can't really figure out why you bought that.

I keep disgusting pictures of dudes with huge...collections, knives, flashlights, firearms etc etc and show those to my wife occasionally. Kinda helps to be graded on a curve. "At least I'm not as bad as...THIS!"

Oh well, things could be much worse!

Just a note on EDC carry, I weigh 145 lbs. and for the last two days I forget it's clipped in my pocket. I found myself checking for it once....hardly even feel it....even in my business-wear pants.

On reviews, it's most often said to be too big for EDC. Does not seem to be a big deal, even at 5.6oz.

This will have to do for now....I haven't really had the opportunity to take a picture of the collection in quite some time, but here's a picture of a few of them from the middle of last year, along with my 1955 Aeronautica Argentina M1927....
