Default Is the DROS BG check different for a handgun vs. a long gun??

Hey guys, I am wondering if the background check performed for a handgun is different or more scrutinizing that one for a long gun? Anyone know the answer?

I believe they are the same type background check its just a matter of pistols being logged differently than long guns which is why you can not dros a pistol and long gun on the same form.

Im sure someone much smarter on the subject can correct me if im wrong.
SO MANY GUNS....never enough money
