Palm Springs is a beautiful area, welcome!

What model is the Winchester that fires with a clip and it's a real good looking

rifle?

I will look myself.I just thought somebody knows right off.

It's called Fieldmaster or Speedmaster.

If it has a 22 gauge rifled for rat shot version that is the one.

I have my eye on the 30 caliber if I remember right.

Remington makes a 552 BDL Speedmaster, which is a semi auto .22lr but it appears to be tube fed, not magazine fed. They also make the Model 572™ BDL™ Fieldmaster, which is a tube fed pump action. https://www.remington.com/rifles/rimfire

Thanks Bob

It looks like it's the model 740.

'Today's variants continue to this day' as one article says.

I couldn't find the today version on Remington's website.

Tube feed autoload 30 caliber deer rifle by Remington.

Wow.That sure was exciting!

What's that all about? Or do I want to know?

I was asking if anybody knew what the new Model 750 Remington is?

I think the 750 is what I am thinking of.

Autoload 30 caliber.Remington.Big brother of the 5 series 22.

Thank you Sam.223 and Presser

Here's something.

The NRA alert says the 'Assault Weapons' deadline is coming up.

My little comment is I have not heard word one about a buyback or turn in

procedure.

Whole thing does not seem very common sense.

Old California if you found a live grenade or something you just turn it in to

the police station. Now everything is a big deal.

Oops.

I read the alert again.'Register or modify'.

The modify sounds semi reasonable and common sense.

The register doesn't sound so hot.

Well if somebody really feels strongly about it they can move.

I traveled around the US for 14 years and met hundreds of ex Californians.

They left for various reasons.
