RIAC is known for getting high prices even when they are "called" out on some of their description.

not only a benefit to the bottom line if you pay cash (15% ... 18.5% when you charge it ... +3% for online bidding), using a phone bid helps keep you focused on a pre-auction plan.

i was watching on Friday and this is the one that caught my eye...

Lot's of opportunity cost there.

You could buy so many more interesting firearms for that $.

something i enjoy about another addiction, prewar American Flyer trains, is that letting them sit on a shelf for years would be far more damaging to their condition than putting them on the track occasionally for a few laps. not sure if the same could be said of firearms. personally, i draw the line at the need to own a pair of white gloves.

I love the early Walker with the "in the White" cylinder.

I just drove from Mississippi to LA, I picked up some lovely items along the way, but, the best find (not purchase) by far was a 2nd Colt's Dragoon, in Louisiana - we are still haggling, I offered cash-in-hand in the shop - but, he said he still needed to research - to be continued, lol.

The big Colt percussion guns are something else - that Walker is a special one.
