But after completing this paint job, I fear no spray can!

Projectile ventilated .45 and .308 targets served as stencils.

Wow lots of great work, kudos everyone. In addition, they add much more character than a plain black rifle, and they serve a functional purpose.

honestly, 1lostinspace, and fuse, are masters. back in '79, i read an issue of SOF, that mentioned that mercenaries, who had captured "terrs", in rhodesia, (now zimbabwa), said that the (terr's), had recognized the "black" of the rifles, and were therefore able to avoid, or survive an ambush. you guys have gone a long way.

The Magpul sticker on the front really does the trick. Excellent work. I had to save the pic for my wife who had a good laugh.

Sounds to me like he is equating you guys with the Mercs - camouflaging their gear so they can more easily kill (capture?) the Terr's.

Nice camo jobs, any way you look at it, though!

I've got a question for you guys who paint your AR's with rails. Do you leave the rails on when you paint? Or do you take them off at paint seperately? Do you paint the barrel and gas tube under the rail as well? This thread makes me want to paint mine..

Default M1A CAMO JOB

This camo is a poor copycat of a current for sale .300WSM by another. I could not get myself to paint the metal or trade out the sling etc. Maybe later. Anyhow it is done with the 3 Krylon Camo colors and took less than 2 hours..mostly waiting.
