I'd also be interested... But I'm up in Yuba City, more than an hour from Rancho Cordova. Alas. Always an hour+ drive from everywhere fun.

Everyone bring their fresh reloads using their new extreme bullet and we shoot them int the cars in the wrecking yard next door. Bring extra so everyone can try different guns and reloads.

To boost an idea that was floated by another club member. Bring your favorite reloading recipie. Include application, gun used, barrel length, chrono fps, start load/max. Any applicable info, primer used, press, oal, bullet, bullet weight, any special preperation.
We collect them and put them in a cookbook for members.
We need the spreadsheet guy to make it look organized.

My spreadsheet is not this comprehensive but I do have a lot of load data (over 6,500 individual loads) that I have mined from various sources over the years. Anyone that wants a copy FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY, please PM me with your email address. I assume no liability for this data. Use it at your own risk.

I have made every effort to ensure that there are no typographical mistakes in this data but some of it was ENTERED BY HAND
SO ASSUME THAT THERE ARE MISTAKES.

I have a bevel base bullet mold and I want the bevel removed from it. Any of you reloaders happen to be or know a machinist capable of doing the job? It's a 40 caliber, 2 cavity mold.

Can someone give a ballpark estimate of what % discount you got? Will be watching for the next buy. Thx.

^^ I just checked the Xtreme website to compare two calibers that I purchased. The discount was about 20%.

Hey gang. I'm pretty new here. Been lurking for a while doing a lot of reading. What do you guys do at these meetings? I'd love to get some more info on reloading from some locals.

Welcome

Last month we had a bit of a swap meet. The month before, we covered case cleaning; dry tumbling, wet tumbling and ultrasonic. If you have a specific question, you can bring them to the meeting or ask them here or in the reloading forum. Do a search first. You'd be surprised how many questions have been asked and answered numerous times.

We are planning on a rifle case prep class in the near future. Date TBD. That will be followed with a rifle reloading class, also TBD.

If you need help setting up your equipment, ask in the forum if someone has experience with your particular equipment. You might get some hands on help.

looking forward to meeting you.

Thanks. I don't have any specific questions, I've just been reading a lot about reloading and all the equipment. I think I will be buying a Lee Turret style press, I found them on amazon for about 115 bucks with free shipping. I'll be watching the thread here to see when the next meeting is and if I'm available I'll be there.

Broke my RCBS inertia bullet puller today.
Fortunately, I have a spare!

Only 1,000 rounds left to pull, more or less.

1000!! Wow, I hate having to do 20! But my 115gr 9mm are a real pita .. they don't have enough weight to have much inertia.

Spill all the beans and confess to us what you did or didn't know. You can't cast this little tidbit into this thread without there actually being a hook inside the bait.

Hook? Bait? Heaven forbid.

Loaded up a bunch of 180 gr PHP with 5.5 grains of bullseye. Not a dangerous load but too hot for me and possibly my pistol. Tearing them down is a precaution.

Action Guns in Rancho Cordova has tons of .45 once fired brass for sale.
Think it's 500 for $35? Just call them and check.

If you want range brass, Sac Valley is a good place. $3 lb. You have so sort your own but you can get several hundred in 1/2 hour.

Anyone in the Folsom area willing to show off their setup and help give me a better idea of what I'm looking for in equipment.
