Default Where does it end?

Let's say all the current legislation passes and becomes law, do you think the Anti's here in CA will take a break from making gun laws?

Maybe relax for a while and decide the laws are good enough for them?

The question is, how far honestly do you think the anti gunners in this state would go with their laws if they had their way, realistically?

My guess would be next would be semi-auto pistols for much of the same BS that are using to ban semi-auto rifles. After that probably shotguns and hunting rifles that are capable of holding more then a single round/shell. Once that's forced through I would say that they will complete their victory lap with a complete ban of all firearms.

When no "Law Abiding" American citizen has a firearm.

Then they will go after knives.

It would be a felony to WATCH a firearm being fired in any form outside of a designated motion picture on a state-sanctioned viewing list. They would then start a campaign for may issue permits to carry pocketknives.

As long as there are people who run around like chickens with their heads cut off at the thought of firearms, and politicians that can score points with them by "regulating" them, it will continue. Some of them truly believe gun control=crime control, some of them just think it's an easy +5%pts to their re-election, but as long as more control is an option, it'll keep right on going.

It won't ever end in CA because the people here don't care. Which is why I'm hoping to move to a state that does and would go to war over their rights.

That or somehow the Supreme Court gets some balls and ends the issue at the federal level.

It's a pipe dream but I'd like to see a new constitution amendment adding more specific gun rights on a federal level. But since we live in reality - I'll settle for a state that does. See Nevada or Texas for example.

the end will be with total confiscation of arms period that is the end game. you can draw your own conclusion as to what this country or state will look like after that.

Registration today equals confiscation tomorrow.

Either when older gunnies die or before.

Look at mags for instance. My legal standard cap mags that were purposefully exempted are now going to banned barely ten years later?

How about 'bullet buttons'? The 'use of a tool' language was specifically inserted into SB4?. Now its a 'loophole'?

They don't need to pretend or promise anything anymore, it doesn't matter now.

Perhaps they can start closing gun shops and ranges in the same way gun shows have been basically neutered.

They are on their way to ban or put the stranglehold on hunting. Stealing DROS funds for state wide confiscations is already happening.

If guns are hard to buy, own and use, then endgame becomes much easier or even accomplished with the proverbial whimper and not the bang...

Until then, resist, evade, smuggle.

It ends when all we have left are muzzle loading rifles. Maybe not even then.

That's no joke either.

It's an incremental march towards total outlawing of firearms or at least make it so impractical that ownership is overwhelmingly avoided or deemed pointless.

For instance, the next re-definition of "Assault Weapons" might be -- a weapon which can be used to effectively assault or cause death to human beings and do so more than once without reloading. Effectively assaulting is taken to mean the ability to fire a projectile that will penetrate more than 6 inches into human flesh and do so within 1 seconds of the activation of the firing mechanism.

Or, the next incremental restriction on magazines may be -- any ammunition device permanently or temporarily attachable to a firearm which is capable of holding more than 1 round of ammunition.

And the next safe storage requirement might be. All firearms must be stored with trigger locks and placed in a secure container weighing at least 1,000 lbs and bolted to the ground or wall. Such a container or safe must feature at least 2 separate key locks, a hinge mechanism hidden from external access, an air tight seal and a steel enclosure with a minimum thickness of 4 inches. The keys to the 2 said key locks must be stored separately in locked containers and may not be on the same person at any one time.

The next ammunition restriction might be. It is illegal to possess environmentally harmful ammunition within the state of California. Environmentally harmful is taken to mean any projectile containing lead, plastic, metals or other forms of non-biodegradable material. It is also taken to mean any propellant that contains compounds that are harmful if ingested, or which emits smoke or carbon dioxide when ignited.

Once the citizens are disarmed
Law enforcement will be dis-armed as well
Look to England for the end game

They wont stop until all weapons are banned... knives, guns, bow and arrows, sticks, rocks ... Eventually our only defense will be that of a rape whistle until they ban that for being to loud for the children and then the state will handout feather duster to Ward off attackers.

Honestly I'm exhausted from writing, calling, emailing these people and what good has it done for us...ummm, nothing. They could careless about what we think and the fact they just passed almost all the new bills proves it.

I love this state for what it had to offer like fishing, hiking, boating, and all the other fun stuff.

But we are a small group of peasants attempting to defeat the Roman Empire. Were outnumbered 5 to 1.

CA city population - 30 million

CA rural population - just over 5 million.

California is screwed.

I am waiting for these tools to inadvertently criminalize something they use on a daily basis in their wanton quest to nannify the existence of everyone else.

Senator: "Where's my car and driver?"

Aide: "Didn't you know? Having a car driven by someone else is now illegal due to civil rights, discrimination and racism issues."

Senator: "Since when?"

Aide: "Since SB 9076 was signed by the Governor yesterday."

Senator: "I authored that bill!"

Aide: "Yes...would you like me to look for the car keys?"

Could be entertaining.

Dwightlooi- The storage requirement would be to have to store your guns at your local police dept and have to fill out paperwork everytime you want to go shooting.

Default Batter Up - Taxes

After the mandatory registration of so called assault rifles will come annual taxes to keep them.

Taxes will increase on ammunition. Once they see the fine revenue source there and acknowledge many will drive out of state to buy - they'll have to double, triple or otherwise increase the taxation to the point where it becomes impractical to shoot.

These are the only ways to get "gun ownership down." Once they impose annual taxes they can get by with confiscation with a tax avoidance plan - hand your rifles over and avoid penalties, additional taxes and maybe even enjoy a lame little tax break.

The anti's can't enjoy the success of breaking the CA gun owner until their numbers are deminished. That is done by making gun ownership less attractive which means more expensive.

It is a sad fact, but I agree we are truly screwed.

Even if a solid one third of CAs population owned guns and cared about our rights we would still be screwed.

How will it end in CA? To the sound of applause from the city sheeple.

They'll keep pushing until all guns are taken out of private possession,or lost in tragic fishing boat accidents.

It will never end. The masses have spoken and this is what they want. Huge out of control gubment who is will slowly strip us of every right that makes us Americans. Old school values and way of life aren't cool anymore. Its all about money and power. The sheep have been brainwashed to the point that they keep asking for more like a junkie hooked on some bad sh*t. They don't even realize what they're asking for. Conservatives are now considered "The rich White man" and that definitely isn't cool by today's standard. If what I'm saying is wrong, people would have learned the first time around and Obama would have been a one term president.

All you can really do is stand back and watch it burn.

When private firearm and firearm parts ownership is 100% banned with zero exceptions they'll start after knives.

Hollywood really shouldn't receive any exemptions..if the people cannot have weapons then the movie studios shouldn't either..Hollywood is full of fakes and idiots..I hope an incident on the scale of Escape from LA happens..it would be wonderful to see Hollyweird slide into the Pacific..Take all those stars with you too..
