Default LAX Ammo opens a store in OC

I just happen to pass and drop by LAX Ammo's newest store front in OC.
It's on Beach Blvd., just north of Warner, on the eastside of Beach.

They actually have a decent amount of .22lr at not outrageous prices.

Might be a smart move a lot of stores will probably quit selling ammo when the new law kicks in. They may be filling a big gap that doesn't exist yet.

Yep very smart. They'll be able to fill the niche for high volume shooters who want cheap reloads who buy mail order today from places like freedom munitions.

Oh my god this is big news for me.

I buy 100% of my range ammo from LAX, and I pay to have it shipped to me in OC because my time is more valuable than the cost of the shipping. Screw LAX traffic.

When next year rolls around, I know where I'll be going on a regular basis!

You can't buy online prices at the store. Womp womp.

That’s the issue with LAX ammo, they have no problem profiteering on CA gun owners.

Yes 3 tiers of pricing, guns shows, internet and store. I don't like that so I generally don't buy ammo from them.

Nope. It costs less to sell online. No showroom, no salesman, etc. You call it profiteering, I call it business. You can get online prices during parking lot sales. They hold those sales regularly.

I had no idea.

But if the parking lot sales are online pricing, then I can just buy in bulk at those times. I don't have an issue with that.

I have no interest in bait and switch tactics or shell games. I suppose will mainly be a moot point come 1-1-2018 for vast majority of CA residents.

Be wary, screen shot their prices a few weeks before their “parking lot sales” , a bit of an eye opener

Better deals to be found online and the perk not having to deal with the typical shopper at those events.

Went to the OC store yesterday, I like the layout. Bullets on display too. I haven't seen their show prices, are those better than online, or comparable?
