Dual Sport riding
Tomorrow I will be heading to San Luis Obispo for the Hi Mountain Dual Sport ride put on by the Cal Poly Penguins.
Just got me thinking if we have any other members that like dual sporting.

Just got home from the ride. Didnt make the teeter totter this year. I was spent before I got to that point. It was very dry, dusty and rutted this year so a bit more of a challenge. But the whole ride was great!

Ive had many dirtbikes, including a "pig" DR650.
Ive never owned a dual sport per se. The DR was turned into a DR650SM, so I never was able to truly take it off-road. As I get older, I really would like to get a dual-sport bike for doing true dual-sport adventures.

I've never seen a big adventure bike try it. Maybe there's a weight limit or it's just too crazy . Last year I did see a guy on a scooter do it though.
