What's your strongest and weakest handguns?
So what's your strongest and weakest centerfire handguns in your collection? Modern and C&R, mixed 'em or don't. Here's my pair.

Hmmm...if you’re referring to material strength at the frame/slide
I guess strongest is my HK Mark 23 and IMI Jericho 941 Weakest is probably my Walther P5 Compact and Walther P88

Oh good point! I was thinking in terms of the ammo but that's an interesting perspective. My dad would totally appreciate your thinking since he's a retired engineer in Materials Science.

Strongest - .44 Mag, Taurus M44
Weakest - 9mm pinfire, Belgium side-by-side, unable to date it but probably made in the 1850s Weakest modern - .22lr Beretta Bobcat

My strongest are 1911s, they are made out of steel and you could put thousands of pounds on them. My weakest are glocks and they are made out of plastic and you can crush them pretty easy.

"Weakest": I guess that'd be the .38 Special, but it's not exactly "weak".

Strongest: Desert Eagle 50 AE
Weakest: My inherited J.C. Higgins 9 shot 22lr revolver. The Deagle was very expensive. The .22 was free. I care more about the .22 |
