Default Seecamps

The ultimate hideout gun, and pocket jewelry. I’m fortunate to have both the 32 and 380 variants. On the hunt for the 25.

Until you own one, it’s truly hard to appreciate how small they are. There is a 32 caliber variant that is still on the Ca roster that includes a small manual trigger safety. Those cost a bit more but are easier to find in stock because no one else typically orders the Ca edition.

Cool...I love Seecamps. I have a 32 Southwick and a 380 Milford.

Nice! Thanks for sharing. I’m liking the new blacked out seecamps they are
making. I started this because there’s not much mention on CG about them even though there is a model californians can buy. I’ve been a fan of them since the late 80’s.

Thank you for the pics. A Seecamp is on my list, although I don't really need one. No CCW's where I live in Los Angeles county.

Well, they definitely aren’t range hoses and i wouldn’t take a class at front sight with one For me they are for when I want to drop something small into my pocket so I at least have SOME gun on me at all times. They’re beautifully crafted little items. I’ll dig out my ruger lcp 380 and maybe a j frame snub and do a size comparison photo maybe tomorrow.

380 next to a titanium zippo lighter for size comparison.

380 seecamp against a model 40 lemon squeezer j frame.

Against a 380 ruger lcp.

Against a walther 22lr TPH

Finally against my wife’s Tiffany Glock 42

Seecamps are cool. I picked on up last year. You just put it in your pocket and it disappears. Only you know you a gun on you.

For those who buy or want one, it's not hard to switch out the CA trigger for a regular one if you want to. I haven't but, I don't shoot mine a lot and, since it's not on my CA LTC, I don't carry it in CA.

Very good point. It’s super easy to change out the trigger to a regular one, and every part of a seecamp is available for order. The trigger isn’t too expensive either. Thanks for pointing that out.

Don’t these have the weird safety (CA)?

Or is it integrated into the trigger assembly?

The ca model has a small cross bolt type safety that is integrated into the trigger itself to meet the old roster requirement. You could remove it from the trigger or replace the whole trigger with a 49 state one if it bothers you. It’s something that you could just ignore and never use, is very small and out of the way. My fear would be that it could possibly become inadvertently actuated and block the trigger during shooting. Don’t know if that’s ever happened and I think the chance of it happening would be pretty slim after examining one, but if i had a ca model i’d just put a standard trigger on it personally and be done with it. I’m sure there are some worry warts on here that would disagree about “altering a guns safety”.
