This was a lot of fun. A very humbling experience to say the least, but very fun. Thanks to thefeeder for a great class.

I would encourage anyone to take the class if it is offered again.

Default Interested in the Clinic

Very interested in the Clinic, but wondering on the level of instruction?

My buddy and I have begun to regularly to shoot skeet and score in the high teens. Is this primarily a beginner class, or suitable to help us to improve our skills?

Thanks

Barry

On the 30th...I'll have a couple of experienced shooters coming if you two make it we'll have four out of six.

The first hour might be a bit winded for you. As we get to the shooting phase we can cover... better target aquitisition, hold points, different leads techniques, low gun shooting techniques...maybe find some bad habits to fix...so the answer is..... a little of both

If your shooting high teens...the twenties are easy to reach. If your looking to shoot 100 straight......the clinic is not the venue

Glad everyone had a good time..that was the goal...hope everyone brought some know-how home also.

You guys were fun to teach....and picked it up fast. All you need is more time on the field...............and was that ccsun201's dad on the Browning BPS ?.... Hats off if that was his first time shooting clays.

And for the 56th time....._______.

Hey Lou

It was an awesome class! Thanks a ton for taking your personal time to hold this class. My dad and I will probably be doing this on a regular basis in the near future. Yea, my dad was saying he hasn't shot a shotgun in 20 years and it was his first time shooting clays. Hopefully it runs in the blood, I definitely need some more time on the field.

If you can get 2 spots for the 30th, my wife and I would like to join. We just picked up a Remington 870, in jail at the moment.. 9 more days till we can bust her loose.

We are both beginner shotgunners Neither of us have shot skeet before, and I think it would be real beneficial for both of us.

We got the 870 Express, so we will have to use a different shotgun as we have the 18" I believe.

Please PM me if there is space available for both of us.

If only 1, then maybe just my wife can take the class.

On the 30th I have 5 intermediate shooters....I'm going to try to help them improve scores.

I'm willing to open up another Clinic the following weekend on 5/7 if you three are in.

That sounds good to me... my wife and I are in..

Alex
Sherrie

We will be sharing a shotgun, if you have an extended barrel for a Remington 870 then we can use our own. Hoping that you do, as we would like to get familiar with ours. If not, we may have to use a loaner.

Default Clinic 4/30/11

Hi Lou,
Per our chat I'd like to add another experienced shooter to the 4/30/11 clinic, Tom will be joining us.

BTW
I understand that you run these Clinics in order to help fund the juniors Clinics. I'd like the oppertunity to help pay back for the tuition I am to receive by offering my assistance with a junior Clinic. Please do let me know if I can be of assistance.

I can't wait til the 30th....

Thanks

Barry

Lou,
We all had a blast at last weeks clinic. Lou, thanks for all your time and effort.
Barry, Eric, TJ & Tom

To anyone considering attending. Your in good hands regardless of your (in)ability. After range safety, all the basics are covered. Judging and altering the fit of your shotgun if you brought one. Testing the fit of a shotgun you might purchase. Then how to prep for, find and shoot the elusive skeet themselves. Wonderful fun!

Location, Location, Location!
What a great place to shoot, very picturesque. Being over the water it is steel shot only.
< < < < All pictures are clickable thumbnails

TJ on point mashing clays

Looks like Lou is about to bash some concept into Tom.

Tom mashing clays with Eric to the far left.

4 of the 6 attending this clinic. TJ, Eric, Lou, Tom, and myself (Barry) (to the camera shy amongst us... Nice meeting you)
