Default Fishing columbia near portland.

I am meeting my bro in portland on the 18th. I have a charter set up for sun 22nd. Anyone know where to fish the Colubia River east of portland? Haven't been up there in years. We may go crabbing at Chinook near mouth of Columbia.

Been a few years, but used to fish between Troutdale and the dam. We'd usually start where the Little Sandy joins the Columbia, and work our way East into the gorge. What are you after?

Salmon if running or sturgeon . I have roe frozen from last year. We fished below bonneville dam long time ago with 12 ounce sinkers with spikes to hold in current have to be able to cast 100 yards.

I usually fish the kenai/seward/ninilchik Alaska but this year I'll fish Columbia in couple weeks then in summer take Kayak and quad to Camalu below Ensenada and freelance.
Lot cheaper down there.
