50 Something Newbie
Hi to everyone,
Totally new to this shooting thing. Bought my first gun over the summer (CZ 452 American .22LR). Been having a great time. So much to learn. Was seriously lurking, while gathering all that first purchase info. Wanted to express my gratitude for all the great knowledge out there. Happy New Year! Peter

I’m a longtime gun owner and recreational shooter. My fist purchase was a Mossberg 500 12ga at age 18. My most recent purchase was a Ruger Blackhawk in .41 mag. I live in the SF Bay Area. I am a staunch supporter of 2A and those who respect our freedoms. I respect and defend our military, Law Enforcement, and first responders. I believe that everyone can contribute to protecting and maintaining the rights and freedoms our Founders fought for. Thank you and Happy New Year!

Hello to all and thank you for maintaining and contributing to this forum that you have graciously allowed me to join.
I’m an attorney, casual gun owner, and recreational shooter with a "pending" CCW application in my municipality. I am most interested in handguns for home and self defense/CCW and SBRs/carbines, including pistol caliber carbines. I'm eager to learn more from all of you, as I never had family or friends to learn from. I am the son of immigrants and feel that it is my duty to be part of the resistance against all who seek to destroy or constrain our civil liberties in this nation under God. I mean that 100% peacefully, but will arm myself and my family in the name of those who died to protect that right for us. Thank you and Happy New Year!

Currently living out in the country in Napa County (Lake Berryessa area), plinking with air rifles at targets set up in the field. Thinking about picking up a rifle or shotgun in the next year or so. Hey All!
Brand new member here. Just wanted to say hi to everyone. Been shooting every once in a while with my LEO cousins but recently started to go to the range more frequently with a few buddies of mine and I'm HOOKED. After contemplating on and off about purchasing my first one instead of renting and/or testing my buddy's all the time, I'm finally going to get one of my own! I bought a HK P2000 V3 9mm, beautiful gun and felt great in hand compared to the others I looked at. Also.. slim pickings (thanks COVID). We'll see how it does when I take it out, I told my husband (who's never used a firearm) to be prepared for me to go down the rabbit hole with new toys!

Hello All,
I found this forum while searching Kriss Vector on safari and I thought I better join. Nice to have a place where Cali gun owners can find information and help. Like many here, I’m kind a new gun owner as I just purchased my first shotgun for home defense. Looking at what’s going on in our beloved country I thought it’s a safe bet to have something better at home beside a baseball bat. Of course, as a God follower his promises are with all those who believe everyday. Because the LORD commands his angles concerning us to guard us in all our ways...so we shall not fear the evil lies in the world. For he will cover us with his feathers and under his wings we will find refuge. So, Fear Not!
