There's also Kwik Klip for $80. Not sure if they make them for .223s though.

Those are only for long action 700's.
They won't work for a 308 or 223 build.

Thanks! And as others have mentioned, it is a B&C Adjustable Medalist, or A5 Adjustable. Got it from www.shootersdiscount.com; great people to do business with!

Here's another decent shot of the rifle:

Hi, just wondering on the specs of your rifle...

is it 20" rifle length gas?

What kinda buffer and spring are you using? Carbine, heavy buffer?

Thanks much!

i'm asking 'cuz i wanna build a 20" SPR with the UBR stock, but not sure what kinda buffer and spring to use with a rifle length upper and UBR carbine stock.

Read the reviews on midway...

tien dinh of san jose, ca
Date Posted: 12/9/2008The product is made of plastic. From the start installing wasn't simple, took some time but not impossible. Could just be because it's my first rifle. After installing and testing it out, it does not hold 5 rounds. It hold 3 rounds very well like normal w/o it. After 3 rounds it gets stiff and doesn't want to accept the extra 2 rounds. As hard as I tried shoving the next round in there. I can only say that the extra rounds only went in there once since I bought it. The product did not completely fail. One good thing came out of it. For some reason before I had the mag installed on my 300 win mag r700, the round would sometimes miss the bolt when I reloaded the rifle. Now with the new mag installed I have not missed a single round when I push that bolt forward. It wasn't my intent to fix it but it did and this product was worth it. Hopefully I can fixed that stiff jam and get the extra rounds to go in.

David Stuck of Newaygo, Mi
Date Posted: 7/10/2008At first, I thought this was going to be great, an extra 2 shots if I ever need them. The installation instructions were adequate and it seemed to go on quite well. It was a little stiff to open at first, but after 10 or 15 openings, it worked fine. In actual practice, the magazine box releases upon firing often and usually when loaded full of cartridges. Making your rifle a single shot rifle! Not what I had hoped for at all. Also I believe it needs a stronger floor plate spring, as I have had intermittent feeding problems. The overall quality seemed ok, but after all is said and done, I am removing it an re-installing the stock bottom plate.

HAHAHA welllllll I bet REAL snipers dont have an extra 30 pounds around the waist either or their wife standing there behind them with the nikon.
I'm just guessing.......hehehe

The funny thing is that I actually prefer shooting prone but somebody took alot of time to build all these nice benches up and I thought to myself; "hey look at these benches just sitting here in the sun why dont I just try my snipers skills at blending into my surroundings and sit at the bench like all the other people, that way they will never know.

The rifle was built by a guy named Todd (30calsniper) on the Hide. He does alot of paint and I am thinking that this is one of his earlier ones cause some of the more recent works I have seen photos of even puts this one to shame. He is pretty talented with the brush.

The wife and I have never shot at Lytle Creek so if thats an invite maybe we can hook up for a day (I will bring a drool rag) and do a little shooting. We are in SD so send me a PM if your interested.

Lytle creek could be good for you.
There's no nice benches so you can shoot from prone.
Lots of nice rocks to lay on too.
Just watch out for the homies and their little kids/dogs running around everywhere and don't leave stuff lying around that you would miss if it were stolen.

I can't tell which dogs are pets and which dogs are mongrel strays. Weird, wacky place, but fun to shoot at considering it pretty much my only option.

You have to drive right past WEGC to get to Lytle Creek.
No mongrel spawn there.

Is it your intent to come across in a disrespectful tone? If not then my apologies.
It just seems as if you are a little abrasive in your posts. I posted my rifle pics in here as I thought this was where you are supposed to post pictures of Precision / sniper rifles. My mistake if I took that title to mean either / or and not the meaning of only if you are a sniper having had opportunity to bag a photo opportunity between kill missions.
I dont believe I ever said anything to that effect. no I am just a guy who enjoys the freedoms provided by those that do And I am doing it 220 grains at a time.
