The installation instructions were adequate and it seemed to go on quite well. It was a little stiff to open at first, but after 10 or 15 openings, it worked fine. In actual practice, the magazine box releases upon firing often and usually when loaded full of cartridges. Making your rifle a single shot rifle! Not what I had hoped for at all. Also I believe it needs a stronger floor plate spring, as I have had intermittent feeding problems. The overall quality seemed ok, but after all is said and done, I am removing it an re-installing the stock bottom plate. Was this review helpful? my little contribution.
Here is my new Rem 700. Just purchased it. first time out today and with some help from a couple a cool guys who had a good spotter scope I was able to get it close to dialed in but ran out of time on the range to finish.
Damn I guess I have to go back again. hehehe
