I applaud what Guerrilla Worx is doing its hard to start any new gun related business now days even more so in CA. let alone make something functional and dare I say sexy far as compliance parts go. They were willing to put their money where there mouth is and literally give away their product for us to try out of the kindness of their own hearts heck they even paid for the shipping so not only can appreciate them improving upon a product / idea / concept I can also appreciate them as a business for putting their best foot forward thank you for the Guerrilla Grips Guerilla Worx!

"I saw people doing that way before Dec. 2010 " - please show this. Show photos, show posts here or another forum. I would like to see this claim proven out. Because in 2010, that is the first I had ever seen such a method of BB use and I have been around here for a while. So, please, show me these people doing it prior to 2010. And, for fun, do a Google images search on "bullet button on magazine" and what do you see? The UBBT. So please, I would like to see references to this concept and method in use "way before" 2010. And the greater point I was making was and is.. the "concept". The "concept" of the BB attached to a mag and the "concept" of BB attached to a magpul or baseplate type setup. They did not think of it. They elaborated on an existing idea. Which is fine and not hating on that or their design or version of the idea at all. There are even some aspects of it I can enjoy, but do not say, "is like nothing on the market" because it is simply not true. There are, and there were 4+ years ago.

Guerrilla Worxs rocks!
Quote:
Hey I corrected myself saying that it was more like Columbus taking credit for discovering the Americas he thought he was the first to do something when several others had beat him to it years prior they just didn't feel the need to record it or take credit. One can project their delusional grandeur all they want but it doesn't make it true now does it. I can see where one without a open mind or who has a invested emotional and possible financial interest in a product line might conveniently not consider a bullet button tool attached to a magazine as ubiquitous or common place but I feel they are and even if you don't consider them as such the two items you combined still sure are. I mean bullet button tools certainly are common at least in this state and so is attaching the tool to something since I have seen everything from retractable bullet key chains to rings to gloves to tools on wrist lanyards. I have also seen various types of ranger plates and rubber magazine covers from various manufactures. Up until now there hasn't been anyone who designed them specifically together. You think I'm comparing apples to oranges but your so busy pointing the finger you don't even see your comparing potato's to tomato's. This isn't a Magpul product and this isn't a UBBT product and to make your pointless claim even more nonsensical the tool is not even in the same location. Maybe you should get over yourself and live in the present its time to let go who cares about you poking holes in others peoples products and taking credit for it 4 years ago?! You say you have "been around here for a while" what on the forum or this earth? I'm only making mention of it because you did and find it funny since I am old enough to have grown up in the pre ban days I was there when they put the assault weapon ban in place where they made you register your pistol gripped detachable magazine rifles as a assault weapons it was long before people were so obsessed with posting every little thing they do online or taking pictures of everything they did let alone try to take credit for something or a idea they didn't copyright or trademark maybe it was just a different time where people weren't so egotistical they they just assumed because someone didn't care enough to document it or take pictures of it they were the first?! Ah those were the days... great now you have me doing it lol! So wait a minute your justifiable logic for trying to ruin someones product release and argue with me is because you had never seen it so that it means it never happened?! That just means you don't get out much not that your a innovator. So did you invent bolts and nuts too lol? So even though you are pretty much taking credit for said idea ( at least far as Magpul mags and mounting a bullet button tool to a rubber cover are concerned ) I find it very strange you did not take the other vendor to task who did your very same exact "concept" as you put it and they actually marketed and sold it not even a month after you posted about doing it yet you gave them your blessing but call these guys out yet your not hating on them or their design?! So why the stink / negativity 4 years later towards this company?! Sorry but there is no reference of bullet button tools attached to the front of pre Magpul mags because like I stated it was just a bolt sticking out of a magazine it wasn't until someone decided to get all fancy and call the "concept" ultimate that it really even had a name or was marketed as such. Guerrilla Worx claim totally holds water since the Guerrilla Grip is like nothing on the market in terms of a intentional design they never said they were the inventors of the concept and frankly neither are you some guy with a drill a bolt and a nut was years ago. Your just mad these guys vastly improved on a idea your claiming you did first ( which is in fact just putting two preexisting products together you didn't actually make or design anything ) that you feel you somehow have a claim to said idea when last I checked someone else is selling your idea and they even already thread crapped and posted a direct link to their product on their website in this thread over a week ago so your late to the party ...again. A BIG THANK YOU to Guerrilla Worxs not only for making a awesome product but also for thinking of us folks on Calguns.net its rare to find a company willing to give away 50 units ( roughly 699$ ) worth of free product for us to try out talk about standing behind your product you rock!

Also, a quick word to guys upset that we stole someone's concept, or should be giving credit to other people:
The concept and design for this grip/bullet button tool system is 100% original. Yes, other companies have come up with other solutions for the same problem. We like our solution the best, we do feel that it is truly unique, and that it offers the most value from a functional standpoint when compared to other options on the market. If you don't like our design we can respect that as well. There are other options for everyone.

Thank you! Got mine a couple days ago and it works, and looks, great!
I rest my AR on the mag, and I don't see an issue resting on the button - it's well supported in the sleeve. EDIT: Yes, you do need to be careful slamming in a mag! thanks again! Michael J.

Got the free sample - and your TRICK worked! You got me to order more! LOL
It fit great and I like that you can just pull it off if you don't want it on there unlike another tool I have that has you drill a hole in the mag body.

My favorite thing about this as SoCal Gunner mentioned is that you don't have to alter your mag body in any way! I also like the type of rubber Guerrilla Worx has used because it almost has a "sticky" feel to it so it grips nicely along with the ridges - I should try it with some water on there

Hello,
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has supported us and made a purchase. We appreciate all the great feedback so far, and we are working on producing some new colors for the lineup. Desert Tan will probably be first on the list. Also, I will see how the guys feel about producing a 10 round version. I'll post updates as soon as I have more info.

New Color Available
Hi Guys,
We did a small run of some bright green parts if anyone is interested. The idea behind the bright colors is that they will be used for identification purposes; drills, shooting comps, etc... http://guerrillaworxrd.com/?product=...la-grip-3-pack

We are looking into 10 rounders. There does seem to be a demand, but the design may be a challenge as some 10 rounders seem really short. The current design will stretch to fit .308, but we have not tested them for clearance at the bottom of the magwell.

Got creative with these grips, these guys have a very versatile product. Added a little paracord and it works great!
