Default Castro Valley October Appleseed - Finally gonna make it!

It feels like I've been trying to get the stars to align on this forever. It's actually been over two years since I started trying to arrange my family schedule to attend an Appleseed, and bring my daughter along as well. Well, this weekend, it's FINALLY worked out, our calendar is cleared off, and we're signed up.

Looking forward to seeing some Calgunners out there. I'll be the guy rockin grandpa's old tube-fed Sears Ranger while my daughter manhandles the 10/22.

Yeah, I know I'm a giant friggin dork for posting this, but whatever. I'm excited. Laugh all you want...

Glenn

We look forward to seeing you out there. We've got loaner speed-loaders for that tuber if you don't have one.

Great! Thanks for the offers, guys, and I will find you for sure. I've actually constructed my own speedloaders (look funny, but they work), but I haven't used any others to compare them to, so I'm glad to have the chance.

See you guys tomorrow-

Glenn

Let the record show that Glenn shot his Rifleman score (228, huzzah!), though it was with one of my loaners rather than the 'tuber'. Well done!

Hey, thanks!

I was really hoping to make the grade with that old Sears Ranger, for grampa's sake. Alas, my post-mortem found a broken firing pin foiled my plan. Easily fixed, fortunately. I imagine when I'm 80 years old, I'll be lucky if can hold up to two hard days of AQT's myself...

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to put that first notch in your loaner! It treated me well, as did all of your teams great instruction.

Hoping to sign up for some xmas AQT's!
