We need to have a law passed that the cannot have armed security or body guards. Bet they would change their tune fast....

The progressives are the all for me and none for you types. They want to tax and import and support the people who will keep them in power. We all would love to give them a piece of their own medicine. But they know how it really works and they want the odds stacked in their favor: Guns for me and none for thee.

As a side note on the Governor election here in CA...

Newsom had no written statement in the voter pamphlet.

Won with +60% of the "vote" with no fricking statement in the pamphlet. Funny that the Fed doesn't investigate this...

Waste of time. The majority of voters love him and all he stands for.

Gun owners are the enemy in California.

Be careful.

Here comes reply 5 days later. Interesting.

I just noticed few calgunners have become infatuated with me, Ja308, this dude email, and CalNRA.
I feel so popular as a junior member.

I know y'all want me, but I am straight. No thanks.
See y'all laters.

In my opinion, all 3 seem like the same account.

Want you for what?? Is that some kind of gay joke?

Why see us later? That seems a weird nervous comment.

You should tell a moderator if you think any of those profiles are the same person.

You never did answer the question.

Social media lets people say things that there would be repercussions if spoken to another in person.
Hi, you can find me on the corner of village center drive and garden grove blvd. Daily.

You have voters that want higher gas taxes, A congressman that says if they want our guns we will lose because the government has nukes and representatives that want to tax messages on cell phones. A republican has no chance in California.

"A republican has no chance in California."
Because they confuse California for friggin' Alabama.

Drop the abortion nonsense.
Stop doubling down on Trumps more lunatic topics (like the wall? Rah rah russia rohrbacher? Jesus).
Drop the drug war foolishness.
Start supporting liberty. Start advocating for smart transit solutions. Stop being afraid of taxes, especially to fund necessary public works.

Hammer the democrats on congestion. On affordable housing. On how the neo-urbanism dystopia screws poor people in favor of the wealthy. Hammer them on corruption, and losing touch with the average person. Start recruiting minorities, specifically, earlier on.

If the GOP here stays the course...yeah, there's no chance they'll ever win. If they actually start listening to votes, though? They might have a chance.

Don't hammer to hard on congestion and housing. You might be paying more, again. There is a proposal in the works to have all of us pay for when we use the freeway during high traffic congestion times. This makes it yet again more expensive to live in Kalifornia and easier to leave and not waste our time fighting for our 2nd amendment freedom. Most people have jobs they have to go to work at that requires commuting to and from work. They don't have a choice. And the companies don't pay enough to live closer to work.

You're absolutely right, and that's what they need to hammer them on. You have this widespread effort to intentionally make congestion worse in order to get people out of cars. That significantly impacts the poor and middle class far more than the wealthy, who tend to not have shift work and have more flexible schedules.

The Dems in CA screw the less fortunate time and time again, and GOP is just letting it go. It's madness.

Many hunters didn't vote at all.... you know who you are.

Some of the lame excuses I heard were... "my vote doesn't count" or "demo politicians are going to do what they want anyways" or "they don't want to be on the radar". Well congratulations, now that they have a super majority....

People in California haven't felt enough pain yet to change. In a few more years they will or more people will leave.

The problem here is they are being replaced by foreigners. They seem to love our socialist system here because they are not paying for it.

The "hands out" crowd will continue to flood this state until it runs out of someone else's money.

We need to enforce the 1964 Voter Rights Act and get rid of illegal alien voters. Then get rid of illegal aliens by any means necessary.

You are correct. The immigrants, both legal and illegal(federal criminals) come from s***hole countries like Mexico, China ect., that they just accept what the Rulers say and don’t question Authority. They obey. And for their obedience, the Rulers give them government hand outs. That’s why you see the smart people leaving, they are not stupid by supporting California with their taxes.

I'd say many gun owners, people who support Trump, and the "Right" activists didn't vote.

Experience:
-Got a cousin who refers himself as a white American (we are Koreans), gun-loving, Trump supporting, and who constantly talks ill of any other party, has never voted in his life including Presidential elections. Unfortunately, all his Reserve MP unit friends are just like him, as they partied together during election day instead of voting.
You might think they did mail-in ballots, nope as I asked them who they voted for, and their answer was "we don't need to vote, we already know who is going to win." This was their answer during Presidential election and CA election. Guess they were right about Presidential election though....

Normally the gun rights movement is the most potent and useful phalanx for freedom.

In 2018, it killed our chances because of its lurch toward libertariansm.

It lurched toward Travis Allen because Allen softened the pro-life talk and was not the favorite of life advocates. The Allen nuts refused to support Cox even when it was clear Allen could not win, and complicated an already uphill (but winnable) fight.

Winnable, because Cox used the same formula that Reagan used to win California: attract pro-life Hispanics into the party

Guns are a life issue, and we cannot win without unity on life.

We certainly cannot win without attracting new GOP members. And how do the libertarians so ubiquitous on this ineffectual site propose to do that? By offering abortion rights? Sorry, you cannot win being Dem-lite.
