Funny i usually like to buy the older Bulgarian because the brass cases dont tend to stick. I have shot both of them i dont really notice much of a differnce in accuracy.

I had the same ammo. I am currently pulling the bullets and replacing the powder with VARGET to run through my PSL. Shoots 1.5" group with the VARGET powder in. The inconsistency in the round is due to the powder, half of what I pulled is flake powder the other half is an extruded stick type.

I have a friend who shoots these in his M44 and notices no problems with accuracy. I think it may just be my rifle, though the powder thing sounds probable too. I know I only saw the stick kind of powder in the kind of ammo my rifle likes.
I would be willing to sell them at a little under the price I bought them. I'll let them go for $0.18 a round. I'll have to count them when I get home from work. There are 300 in a sealed box, the rest are being stored in an ammo can. |

Location? If you want to come to me, I'd be willing to trade you 1:1 for whatever I've got. I've even got a couple of cases of 62 grain training ammo that I've crony'd at over 3700fps!

I'm in Elk Grove. Head on down and we'll work a deal. I've got tons of 7.62x54r of the type you've got, plus a lot of .40 and .22lr. I'm sure we could figure something out. I've also got a lot of the practice ammo I could toss in the trade too.
