Though you have to admit, he'll see the exact same thing if it is turned around.

Makes it easier to flip up and adds more rail space. No super cool awesome push button flip up feature on it. Maybe I'll flip it around now though since I moved the DBAL to the side. Or maybe just take it off since I took the rear sight off.

I don't know how many of you folks with AR15 pistols are on Facebook, but if you are, I have a group for ar15 pistol discussion there. The group is a secret group so discussions there are not open to the public. The group is called Norcal AR15 Pistols. We have about 70-80 members. If anyone here is interested in joining just find the group and send a request to be added.
Regards.

Milled out a lower receiver, fitted it with an OA-93 7.5" upper and pinned single shot sled. It will likely end up with a longer upper and a buffer tube, possibly a Sig brace.

New Sights and AFG. Want a nice colored FDE tube cover/brace idea. Would like to get that part FDE but the sig brace color is so off.

Right now my favorite (bullet button) AR. So much fun to shoot!

DD 10.3" barrel.

Wish I had a preban.

Pre-ban pistol.

I have a few Pre-ban rifles I can use with high-cap mags, but it would be nice to be able to put a 20 round mag on this pistol.

Decided to Duracoat my 80% lower this weekend and a few other parts on the AR Pistol. Not show quality but I'm happy with it for what it is.

Here is my AR pistol, have made a few changes to it over the last year that I have had it, most recently I swapped out the Phase 5 pistol buffer tube for the VLTOR A5 buffer tube set-up and installed the Thordsen buffer tube cover and CAA stock saddle so I have a better cheek weld, smoother recoil, and prevent it from accepting a stock, keeping me out of SBR land.

Just as an aside, when I first assembled the pistol I did indeed have a zero round sled installed before attaching the upper and shot it a few times as such.

Specs are:

BCM 12.5 barrel with Surefire flash hider and Gunfighter CH and grip
Ares Armor 80% machined myself
ALG ACT
Surefire weapon light with Vamp head
DBAL I2
Aimpoint Micro T1 (might switch it for my T2 or at least swap mounts as the T2 has a lower 1/3 witness mount whereas this one is an absolute witness)

Took it to Angeles to see how the VLTOR A5 buffer system worked with the 12.5" barrel and my handloads, ran smoothly, printed a 5 shot group at 25 meters of roughly an inch and was pinging steel at 400 with ease. I didn't stretch it out to 500 or 600 but I'm sure it would work just fine, even with the red dot.
