ISSC MK22 Gallery
Ok, I searched and did not see a picture thread for the ISSC MK22. I know of a few others on this board that have them, so lets see them. I'll start out with a couple of mine.

the butt stock, and pistol grip are. Uppers are mostly green these days, some older ones were kinda gold looking. The lower is a darker brown.

Wow, I'm annoyed, my flash hider version is pathetic compared to what you guys have on your versions! I got mine from Buds, and am in the waiting period. I can't even adjust the stock as it's apparently part of the "fix"
Since I don't have it yet, let me ask a couple questions of you guys. Can I take off the "flash hider" I have on mine and install one of the versions you guys have? Not sure how easy it is to get off. See pic of mine - you can see it doesn't even have a flash hider. Bummed I can't adjust my stock either - I figured it wouldn't fold since it's CA, but come on! Are you guys able to adjust your stock position? If not, have you found a way of doing it without messing up the rifle? chib

desert sand/cali compliant rifle (rear stock doesn't fold or adjust)
a little clone porn for your enjoyment.....
just snapped a few captures of my new favorite blonde (vortex crossfire 6-24x50 accompanied by a green laser sight) left side (tan latter guarded) comes with adjustable buis that work really well shooters view details was planning on painting bipod fore grip tan to match, but really dig the contrast (cali compliant magazine is still same length as their 22 mag) okay, so...... my biggest grip @ this point is that the rear stock doesn't adjust or fold. i also feel shorted as the cali model doesn't come with the stock birdcage flash hider that my black rifle came with. (yes, this would be my second mk22) i live in n.w. so neither would be a concern, but do travel to norcal frequently so figured i'd pick up a shorter magazine for such trips. had i known mag was standard length & that the stock didn't adjust @ all i'd of purchased the non compliant kit & bought a mag separately = ( doesn't california allow folding adjustable stocks??? all the available descriptions via issc or their vendors say the stock folds & adjusts @ 3 different lengths; yet this does neither. & doesn't mention anything regarding flash hider will definitely call issc directly in the future to 'know' what i'm getting instead of being disappointed

The only thing a MK22 should have different than a "free state model" is a 10rd mag. Otherwise, all is fine and legal, flash hider and folding/collapsing stock included. Some dealers/manufacturers just simply arent up on Ca law, so the result is they alter things that do not need be.

i understand, but still found out the hard way getting the first rifle i bought. the law applies to a.r. type rifles or anything 'centerfire' but nothing regarding rimfire. i was told that rifle came from Lipseys & they claim they aren't allowed to open the boxes. so figure that out..... anyway, i've got another of the same on the way w/regular hider & proper folding/extending stock. not rushing it & waiting til my local dealer puts in another order or it'd cost another 45$ on top of the regular price. i've got plenty of other toys to amuse me for a couple of weeks @ least i got the chance to warn others

Stock lockdown
Hey guys,
Im a heartbeat away from ordering this MK22 myself. Im a little miffed that the stock is locked down in CA. This is a gray area question, but if one were so inclined, could the stock be unlocked to fold, or at least release the adjustable cheek guard? Has anyone tried it? How is the stock locked? Soldered, pinned, or something else? Whats inside there? If you're not comfortable with these questions publicly PM me or email me at parse.designs@gmail.com I think the rifle is fine even with the restricted adjustments. Its just annoying. |

When I purchased my MK22 the stock was not pinned and was fully adjustable in the back. My only concern was that when folded, the rifle's overall length was 24 1/2" inches not including the muzzle brake. Since the muzzle brake is easily detachable I did not include the parameters in the overall length. (26 1/4" with muzzle brake) Either way I pinned it shut just to be sure. It shouldn't be a problem making the cheek guard re-adjustable, all you have to do is knock out the pin holding the stock together and you are inside.
If you need pictures or have questions you can ask me. |

Legal stock unlocking
Quote:
I do have questions. Like, why is a rimfire .22 locked in the first place? If the magazine lock and other CA compliant laws don't apply to this class of rifle, then why is the stock completely locked down? My dealer says that ISSC is just "being carefu". All I want to know is : 1) is the folding stock CA legal, 2) if so can hat kind of pinning / locking systems are they using? Are we talking about welded hinges, or plastic ties? Does anyone have images of the inside of the rifle? I think a good "how to" would be awesome for this thread / forum if in fact rimfire rifles are legally as modular as we'd like them to be and as they are intended to be by the manufacturer. L. |

FYI, the CA "fixed-stock" rule doesn't apply to rimfire rifles. I currently have a folding Sig 522 not once being harassed nor questioned from any LEOs I've encountered either on the range or on BLM grounds. Vendors or out-of-state retailers fix the stocks as a "general rule of thumb" for firearm restricted states.
I'd definitely would have posted on this thread since I've been trying for months to acquire a FDE MK22. Nearly every online vendor is either soldout or they are only offering the fixed-stock to CA buyers. Most private sellers are trying to sell for $500 and over which I think is way over priced. |

As I thought. Thank you for confirming.
I paid well over $500 to Gusnforall (ie, ****faces), and will pay more to have the gunsmith attempt to unlock the stock. Gunsforall (Mr. CK in particular) takes NO accountability for the consistent misfeeds, the blatant legal overkill and functional hobbling of the rifle, or my missing flash suppressor. ISSC USA distribution and ISSC manufacturing are both FAKE email addresses. All in all this is $600+ taken away from a real semi auto rifle. If anyone has real contact information for either a US distributor or ISSC please IM me or just email julian@p4rse.com. I want my suppressor, and I want reimbursement for bring the gun to full functionality under CA law. |

If you do further research ISSC-USA is an offspring company of the ISSC-Austria. Both companies have no relation other than distribution to the US-Market. What does this mean? Well all of the MK22's are fully assembled in Austria and shipped to ISSC-USA; who inturn ship them to their respective dealers. The number of times these rifles are shipped and handled have been rumored to greatly affect the performance and functionality of the MK22. Last I checked ISSC-USA is going through litigation for unpaid wages to their workers not including a much rumored class-action lawsuit from various people sharing your exact experience. Check the various rimfire boards and you will see that many customers and previous fans of the MK22 have been disappointed with their product. From reading from other forums, most people have been taking it as a loss after the ISSC USA customer service phone lines and email has been removed in service (since the start of litigation). Don't want to be the bearer of bad news but chances of you recouping your money will be slim to none unless you are able to have gunsforall assist you with your missing fake suppressor. Good luck! Gunsforall is great. So friendly and cooperative. Once the gun is out of their hands, it the big FU from them. I actually inquired about my flash suppressor and what kind of magazines and compensators were available for the rifle and the ownwer accused me of requesting illegal firearms asd said he'd "make a note of it", then blocked my e-mail like an ex-girlfriend who needs the last word. So FU, guns for all. FU CJ or BJ or whatever your name is in particular. Spread the word. NOT a good company. NOT the small alternative to Buds you are looking for.
Class action lawsuits generally fidn remedy, even if it takes years. Misfeeding, misfiring rifles, even .22s, are life threatening. I will be keeping my eye on this. Can't believe how many good reviews there are of this rifle. What bollocks. Maybe I got a lemon, whatever. NEVER NEVER ORDER FIREARMS ONLINE. THE END.
