We still have room at the line!.

New arrivals please claim your spot as soon as you get here and be preapared to attend the safety briefing after that.

So far it's been a gorgeous weekend, not to hot and with barely a slight breeze!.

Glad organizers listened and had it setup for dates that had little to no wind. Man does it make a huge difference.

The campfires are bonfires now. Three feet of coals Friday night were and epic ring of fire with Mr Patron in the house.

What a great time. We got to shoot lots of good, cool and new stuff. We renewed friendships, made new ones and met lots of new CGers.

Thanks to everyone who worked their tails off, like the RSOs and all the volunteers who keep us safe and happy.

Thanks to the good folks at the NRA camp who put on a Friday extravaganza (Monkey Bread!)

We had a blast at the CL camp. Thanks to Bert for the pig and Nubrun for the special quesadillas Saturday night and the ShooterDK for an excellent cigar on Friday night. Thanks to G-Man WC for the excellent tequila. It was a treat to finally meet Spyder.

A big thanks to X, Uber and Nubrun. Joshua got to shoot the Chupacabra at Mosin Madness, which he won't stop talking about. And I got to dual wield VEPR-12s which is both ridiculous and exhilarating.

I thank and value everyone of you who showed up, shot, partied and shared in our 2A freedoms. I can't wait for 10.

On Friday just in the afternoon I'd followed brothers Nubrum's instructions and drove South from the most remote part of the marked line.

At one point in time ( and as indicated) I'd found a 975 yard mark.

Needless to say , I was home right there!.

I'd let the .50 and .338 out of the cases so they can stretch and bark as needed.

I do apologize if the noise was rather intrusive ..

After mom came to pick up the boys, I looked in the compactor and there it was.

For Silas (9) and Natalie (12), it was the first time and they really enjoyed it, especially the expert training they received from the former Marine sharpshooter instructor. I believe his name is Mike and I am thanking him publicly for taking the time to teach them. You made a big impression on them. They both learned a lot and put it to use when they shot Mike's .308. They both hit the gong at 200yrds. the first time and Natalie also hit the gong at 300yrds. First prone shooting for both of them.

Being able to spend time with my son and 5 grandkids at this shoot was, once again, fantastic. The fact two were up there for the first time just made it better. Thank you Xavier for once again organizing a fantastic shoot. Thanks to the RSO and everyone else who helped out in making this event the success it was once again. BTW, it was good seeing the little guy again too; hi Andy.

The instructor’s name is actually Kal. I will pass along your kind words since he doesn’t frequent the Calguns forum all that much. I know he very much enjoys teaching and was impressed with how well your grandkids caught on with the lesson.
