Default Can you carry add on to your weapon?

Anyone know for SB County can you put light and laser on your CCW carry weapon?

I believe its ok as long as those items don't block your serial number. I'm not positive.

Do you already have your CCW? If not then show up with your add ons on qualification day and they'll let you know.

And make sure you call the correct SBSO as there are more than 1 in this state.

So far, for San Bernardino SD, the only things that get a handgun to be rejected from being listed during the range day is...

... trigger pull is less than 3lbs.

... handgun is not reliable (has constant stoppages/malfunctions).

Show up with the modded gun and the tools to remove the add ons. If they sweat you, just remove it.

Calling gives them the power of "no", which is the answer most staff will default to absent any official policy.
