Default WARNING! READ THIS OR RISK BEING BANNED!!

We are well aware of the current buying and selling frenzy and the effect it has had on pricing.
While some people are marking prices up to match the market others are asking exorbitant prices hoping to cash in on the frenzy.

While we do not condone nor approve of this kind of behavior, trying to take advantage of the current events and concerns to grievously profit off your fellow members is a major display of lack of integrity, at the end of the day it IS their personally owned item and they can value it at whatever they want.

The Calguns Marketplace forums are a free market economy.
If a seller posts a price and a buyer is willing to meet that price then that is what the item is valued at by the two parties involved and is no one else's business.
If the price is too high or outlandish no one will buy it, no one will respond to the ad and it will fade back several pages and be gone.

Yes, some people are trying to make excessive profits of the fear and frenzy.
I do not like this nor am I happy to see kind of behavior however as stated above the owner of private property has the right to set whatever value and price they choose.
You have the right to ignore their ad and not buy their item.

In the past few days the Marketplace forums have been overrun by people violating the rules regarding 'Threadcrapping' and several have been banned.
Just to refresh your memory, here is the rule:
Quote:
10) Thread-crapping.
Commenting on a post in a negative manner, called 'thread-crapping', is not allowed. If you think an item is overpriced or of lesser quality, don't buy it. If you have concerns about the seller PM a Moderator or Admin and we can discuss the matter. Thread-crapping will be deleted, multiple instances of thread-crapping will result in being barred from the Marketplace forums entirely.
If you think someone is genuinely trying to defraud or rip off members report it, if the price is higher than you think it should be, hit 'Back' and don't buy it.

If you thread crap expect to be banned from Calguns for a time and lose access to the Marketplace forums completely.

This IS the one warning you will get.
