I have a Condor case like that, does the job alright. If you want something heavy duty, you could look into a Pelican hard case and cut foam to fit, like in this thread: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=578808

Voodoo Tactical 36" bag. I have 46" and the quality is excellent, rugged, with plenty of room for storage...

2nd Voodoo Tactical. I use the 40" bag. It allows me to carry 2 rifles and 2 pistols to the range with all my mags.

I often use a bat bag from big 5. Discrete and has zippers for locking.

I used to think the 46" was too big, but now that I have a shotgun too the 46" is just right...

I like a Discreet Case also, Neighbors think I`m good at Billiards. OP, Pelican hard cases are great, but around 200$ Riflegear has a nice "basic" case for about 40$

Simple & discreet is good. If you carry a Rangebag, you dont need too much.

You will love it! They are a great quality bag that is well designed. I love mine because I can take 2 rifles, 2 pistols ammo and all the other stuff in one bag. It does get quite heavy which is the only downside.

I've been meaning to try the backpack feature; any of you guys carry the bag like that?

Wow, I just looked that bag up. I like the layout of the interior, the placement of the velcro for the rifles and the built-in back pack straps. Looks like a contender for the Voodoo 'Tac bag...

I like the suggestion of using a soft guitar case and may try that too. For the time being I'm using a plane Cordura case with no external pockets or doodads.

Cheers,
W-W
