CG63s are nice, elegant target rifles. I'll bring mine out of mothballs one of these days.

Today went well, no brain farts, just wind misjudgements. There was only one mysterious elevation change that affected almost everybody at 800 this morning. Not even Ahhnother8 could explain it, just one of those things...

Xs matter

I experienced that at 600yds yesterday. First high then low - affected three in a row then disappeared. Damndest thing.

Nice shooting today, guys. Had a lot of fun yesterday.

There's a High Power match every month, but they only shoot the Folsom Special format 2-3 times a year. But we also do a 3x600 which is also good for first times.

No age limit, but your son has to be able to shoot safely and follow the commands of the range officer.

If you look at the results sheet I posted, in Tactical, Miles Grove is only 13. Has beat his dad every time out with a custom 260.

OK, that new 11 twist barrel is gone. Put another new barrel on today.

Krieger medium Palma 1:13 / .3065 / .298 / 2011 Fullbore chamber

That should do the trick!!

Yes, your win-margin was almost embarrassing with the 1:11

Ain't that the truth. Was looking for nirvana with an 11 twist. We might have to set it back a bit and try again next summer. I do have two 12 twist Krieger blanks, so will try one of them after Christmas. The fun never ends...
