Arrow Win C&R License Fee

As a collector of C&R Firearms I thought I would do a promotion that would be of interest to C&R collectors. If you win, I will pay your 3 year license fee!

Please see: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...59#post9796959 to join the promotion.

Thanks,

Exclamation Only a little over a week left in the promotion

Thanks to everyone who responded already. Still some time left for you to sign up.

Clay

p.s. I must admit that I do not understand the 1/1/2014 date in CA. I live in NM.

The date is when all guns, even longarms will need to be registered with the CADOJ upon being DROS'd, imported or bought face to face.

Thanks for the explanation. Does it force you to go throgh a licensed dealer as well or can you still recieve C&R firearms directly then register them?

Yes. That's the point, because it will force DROS.

But I think you can still purchase out of state then bring back with you and send in a fee+registration form like you can currently with C&R handguns.

DROS only applies if the buyer does not have a 03FFL & COE. If you have both, you can still receive C&R longguns in the mail (I believe), handguns will still need a 01FFL. And yes there will still be that damn'd registration fee for shipped longguns and for imported handguns and longguns.

Here is the laws text, http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/pub/11-12/...chaptered.html

And here is were I got my info, http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=399849
