Default What do you take to the range?

In the past I've only shot a handgun and .22 rifle mostly at indoor ranges and occasionally outdoors on a friend's property. I just got a mini 14 and plan on spending some time at a local outdoor range. At the indoor ranges I would just show up with my guns, hearing and eye protection and ammo (I had to buy their targets) but I imagine you need to come a bit more prepared at the outdoor ranges. I'm trying to figure out what I would need to bring

So far I've got:
Guns & magazines
Ammo box
eye and ear protection
spotting scope
targets

What else should I bring? Are you generally allowed to have food or beverages at the shooting position?
